    Hi John,

    Thank you for replying.

I am working with EZDrumer 2. I see a menu in the upper right corner. In the past, when I pulled down this menu there were a number of tabs, including one for Song Track. When I clicked on this tab I was able to export wav or MIDI versions of the EZDrummer song. But that tab has disappeared. All I can do now is save the file in EZDrummer format.

Does anyone else have this problem?

    Thanks again for your reply.

    Jim Best

Are you clicking on the menu at the upper right corner of the Song Track?

Hey there thanks so much for helping. See the attached screen shot. Please forgive my ignorance. Where would I find that?

Go to File > Project Settings > General.

Try with that box unchecked/checked, and see if it makes a difference.

    Scott said
“You can also drag multiple grooves on top of each other in the Song Track timeline and build a percussion part like that. Then tweak them in the editor.”

I have tried dragging a groove on top of a groove already in the song, and it replaces rather than adds to the groove. Is there a way to get drag and mix the two grooves so you can build up a more complex pattern?  (Eg. Where the instruments that are incoming from the new groove are added to the instruments already playing in the original groove on the timeline)

Reply To: total grooves with all inEZdrummer 3 latin percussion and cuban latin percussion version: 3.0.6
    Operating system: macOS Ventura (13)

Have you tried to right-click > copy on the groove and then right-click on the MIDI on the song track > Paste on Selected Groove?

EZkeys has been discontinued for some time now and is no longer being updated.

EZkeys 2 however comes with the VST3 component and has native Apple Silicon compatibility.

Yes! Select the instrument in the Drums tab, to the top left, you have the option to change the instrument to a different one from another library. Make sure that you have also installed the EZdrummer 2 Core Library EZX as well.

I just purchased a new Mac desktop computer. I had Toontrack  installed on an older windows-based computer. How do I transfer  Toontrack to the Mac pro?

We recommend using the Product Manager application to login to your account so you can easily download, install, and authorize your product(s) to your new computer.

The Product Manager is the best way to complete everything all from within one location.

The Product Manager can be downloaded at this link:

In this case, close Logic, then download and re-install the latest 3.3.6 SD3 Update to ensure the latest version of the Audio Unit/AU plug-in is being installed.

This download is found in the Product Manager > Superior Drummer 3 > Show Details area.

Once you download and install this update you will have the VST, AU, AAX, and Standalone.

In the SD3 installer there is a portion of the installer titled INSTALLATION TYPE (to the left of the installer) in this section there is a CUSTOMIZE button that allows you to view the plug-in types being installed.

Make sure to check all the boxes for a full installation of Superior Drummer 3.

Hi, and thank you for your answers, I figured out that without a piece of midi in the track inside SD3 nothing happened.

So i need to program my drums, and then add the midi inside SD3 prior to bouncing or it will be no show.

If there is a different way please let me know, also Toontrack; you should inform about this (if you have not already … )

Apart from that, great sounding drums – already used them in 3 productions –

    thank you 🙏🏻

    S

Yes, you would need MIDI on the Song Track in SD3 in order to bounce it. If the MIDI sequence that you would like to Bounce is located in your DAW, you will need to import it into the Song Track of Superior Drummer 3 first.

You can read more about the bounce function here: https://www.toontrack.com/manual/superior-drummer-3/7/7-1-the-track-menu/#7-1-1-bounce

I deleted both apps and reinstalled to default locations using the installer. Looks like that resolved the issue.

Great! Glad that you solved it.

It looks like you have some EZbass MIDI installed in the same folder as your EZkeys MIDI.

Have you moved any sound/MIDI libraries?

The default path for the EZkeys MIDI is C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Toontrack\EZkeys\Midi

Make sure that you only have EZkeys MIDI in that folder.
