From what I’ve seen Rail is a great guy. Really helpful, very communicative.
Unfortunately, I hadn’t yet picked up Evil Drums… I never imagined it would be discontinued.

polyslaxWhat a loss… that really sucks. I was hoping to see more Platinum or other 3rd party libraries to help fill the painfully long gaps between SDX releases. Now we’re moving backwards. I agree Superior doesn’t seem to get a lot of love.

I don’t know of any other software manufacturers that sell at their site via download, charging almost twice what the product can be bought for elsewhere.
You’ll never see a dev selling for less than their retail chain – that would be an exercise in bridge burning. Often it’s quite a bit more expensive at the dev’s site, and when you factor in special deals at retailers it can easily be twice as much.

I see AudioMidi has all the SDXs and EZXs on half price again this month, so I may console myself with the C&V that I keep meaning to buy.

polyslaxJust wanted to let folks know that C&V, NY Vol 2 and all the EZXs seem to be half price at Audiomidi. Perhaps elsewhere as well, I haven’t checked.
C&V for $75 is sounding pretty tempting!
