What do I have to install back? I cannot have access to the topic pointed to in this thread (why??????) and all questions answered on the subject seem to be there.

For some annoying reason I am trying to read the thread indicated by Scott above but I get a “access denied” error message.

What do I need to reinstall? The FULL 600 something MB version of Ezdrummer from my account and than try the update?

You guys did a great job. It plays very nice with e-drums just like the big brothers SDX, super light on RAM sweet sounds.

I got Latin Percussion and Claustro through Florida Music Co. Less than 5 minutes after I concluded the purchase, rcvd the e-mail with the serial numbers.. logged in to my toontrack account and downloaded both .. no problem.

For Ezdrummer you will need to map in your module the correspondent notes. If you click on the ? mark within EzDrummer you will see the MIDI Map. Change the note in your module to those correspondent ones.

Funny though.. did you get the module used? Generally the notes match nicely … the three toms and cymbals.

Disclaimer: I have no experience with Studio One so not sure if there is any mapping required over there. I used Tracktion 2/3 and now Reaper… and there is no additional MIDI mapping required on those programs.

You will find out that Norton will not allow you saving Presets. I realized recently… even though I saved my presets correctly .. when opening up Superior.. they are all gone.

I turned off the Anti-Virus… saved the Preset.. closed Superior.. reopened it .. and the Preset saved with the Norton turned off was there. Did the test again .. and again .. and again … so from that time on I turn off the wireless switch on my notebook… turn off Norton and good to go.

Just kidding. I got the EZX and really liked it. The difference in sound with the original and dry kits is brutal.

Not to lead you into changing your mind but take Reaper into consideration as well. Its license goes for 40 bucks (non-commercial use) and the learning curve is not that steep….

Yes you can. Reaper is extremely easy.. super cheap… no maps required. I upgraded here from Tracktion 3… no regrets.
