TD4 drum pad problem

I have a Roland TD-4 electronic drumset running through my Fast Track Ultra Interface via. MIDI on Logic Pro 9. When I run my EZDrummer program, it registers my TD4 snare drum pad as Tom1, and my tom pad as tom1 as well. I know that all of my wires are in the right spot because when i hit the rim of my snare pad it registers as a rimshot on the program as it should. Any assistance with fixing this problem will be greatly appreciated.

For Ezdrummer you will need to map in your module the correspondent notes. If you click on the ? mark within EzDrummer you will see the MIDI Map. Change the note in your module to those correspondent ones.

Funny though.. did you get the module used? Generally the notes match nicely … the three toms and cymbals.

Disclaimer: I have no experience with Studio One so not sure if there is any mapping required over there. I used Tracktion 2/3 and now Reaper… and there is no additional MIDI mapping required on those programs.

Yes, pimenta is right in that a TD-4 at Factory Settings should not trigger the same note as the Tom1 but the Snare.
BTW, you will get limited hihat playback functionality with any other host than Toontrack solo, using EZdrummer and E-drums. It isn’t targeted at E-drummers, as is Superior 2.
