i have a soft snare, a big reverb with the snare, a hard-punchy sound

these basics sound i have not with EZ drummer let me in a strange mood !

i wanted this EZX but it’s hard to know how to use it

except for big ballads -slows like “still loving you “but i already have the hard rock EZX for that and the last snares of EZD2

i wanted something for the heavy metal bands in the 80’s but listening to a lot of demos did not show me it was possible  because there was  too much reverb

I would like to know if you have some examples -songs  that correspond – are related to the 4 demos of the official page

• A spécial to sound like hard rock heavy metal in the 80’s (like rock solid ezx but a better one, listen to Sortilège for example)
• A special ezx to sound like Manu Katché- Simon Philips -Copeland -Collins with all their sounds (especially for Phil Collins)
• One for Nirvana – Smashing pumpkins-Green day-RATM (especially RATM)
• hard rock  like Ac/dc needs an EZX (70’s to nowadays)
• Heavy metal (from the 80’s to today) judas priest , sortilège etc.
• One for modern techno -dance musics from the 90’s to today
• An ezx without something above the sound like seventies rock ezx, country ezx or progressive ezx (what a pity !!)
• i prefer the natural sound like dfh pop-rock, EZD 2 and some others like Nashville-Americana EZX
• And not dark sounds for the  snares like the ones in metal EZX !

i just add that

-rock solid is for the 80’s first but it sounds strange ‘”cliché”

-metal of destruction: not tested

-metal machine: the snares sound strange -special (not tested) in the demos

-made of metal: it sounds very dark in the demos= not good at all !

-metalheads : it was made for Metallica

i like the dirty preset

-Metal ! sounds dark sometimes for the snares= not so good but

reverbathon is good for the 80’s

-Dfh sounds so bright-clean-clear!!   special pack !! agressive snare

-hard rock does not sound so bright : it’s for the 80’s and 90’s Metallica too

i notice that the problem was with the  tambourin and “group snaps”

i don’t use all the percussions but it may be the same for the others

i have the midi notes with Garage band and i must adjust the notes (of an EZX)

for them to be at the same place vs the snare -bass drum  because if i don’t do that,

there will be a shift
the sound of the percussion will be late but it’s normal

the group snaps sound very good

i had not noticed that but

i noticed  that the latency was more important-bigger with the percussions  than with the drum kits in a daw
