To get a rock sound, classic  snare drum sound

the  best are EZD1 pop-rock (piccolo and loud) and rock!  and NAsvhille (softer)

i have heard that it was a mapping problem
i think garage band is for the beginners so, no mapping program inside

i have midi pipe (a software)
i tried but no results so, i really don’t know what to do waiting for a solution
So, in fact all my packs from Toontrack are not at 100% because of that

i am waiting for a solution
Example: try the ROCK PACK _ EXPANSION EZX WITH EZD 1 or 2 (i have EZD 1)
with the VINTAGE PUNCH SNARE (the 2d preset) : it does not sound good= the drumstick does not hit the center but the sides (it sounds reggae, timbales )

when i program garage band to play just the snare drum +bass drum (without any cymbals together) i have the real and good one of the snare drum (like the in demos )
but just for this setting
if i want a rhythm with cymbals, it does not sound good for the snare drum
so, it is unusable

i have finally installed what you are talking about
i have done it before cos it took too much time lol
but finally it was not a problem : i have OS mac high sierra and they say that the update was for OSX 9 and not above but it worked

i think it’s solved now but it was strange for me to read that with this product manager cos’
i thought they wanted us to go to EZ 2 which is not what i want now

yeah it’s good thanks 🙂 )

1) i have bought the ROCK EZX PACK
to use with my EZ 1
i thought it would work because it’s written : for EZ 1
no, it did not work

So, i thought it was because of the old product manager
so, i decided to uninstall it
i could not uninstall my Toontrack product manager
it did not work (strange)
So, i have installed the program with the link here over it
next

i can have an uploaded version of EZ 1 but they said it ‘s for OSx 10.4 to 10.9 only and not above so, i stop the download cos they are old version for what i have

we have waken a boring man with a boring attitude with more ego than talent
keep your “””work”” for you : it’s the best thing to do
if you have a boring attitude full of s… with an incapacity to appreciate some words because your ego wins
so, go on with your music but just into your room : we don’t need f….bad attitude like that
with a boring music too (that’s what i really think)
Phil Collins will never like people like you quoting his legendary name : it’s as an insult for the fans in your words and in your music
your should be happy fans find your boring thread and Mister answers like a boring director
climb off your tree
the best musicians would never talk like that : before trying to learn your first chord in some years your should try to communicate with people (hard work for u)
go to your piano : the first chord to know would be an E major
please don’t try the others: take some years for this one please first

i don’t know how many sounds of bass drums pedals and snare drums we can have

Toontrack has an incredible collection: for me there are really too many softwares

6-8 would be the best
too many to choose the good ones
