i would like to know if a good EZ drummer can sound like Phil Collins
1) the remaster’s in 94 were the best for the drums (forget all the 2007 versions in Spotify and others)
As a big big fan i noticed several sounds to have
in the 70’s, it was not essential
g band can do the job
For Duke in 80, there was a fantastic rock snare drum
in Abacab, a softer one but loud for DODO
in MAMA it was great with a lot of gated reverb
for home by the sea 2 too with the Simmons drums
just a job to do was great too
for invisible touch, you have electronic sounds too but i prefer his classic snare drums and toms sounds for “anything she does”or throwing it all away
for we can’t dance
it was so great
a mix between Bonham and Phil so loud for the last song
or something like a classic rock with Jesus he knows me
and big gated reverb for no son of mine
in his solo carrer in the air tonight but in 1990 and 1994 were really amazing with a lot of gated reverb (especially in 94 drum intro)
in 1982 for thru this wall big loud sound too
in 1985 something like sussudio (drum machine)
and great rock tone for inside out or only and i know
of course against all odds
in 1990 something like hang in long enough and i wish it would rain down (gated reverb too)
and with his jazz band too
he had another kind of sounds with CLapton in 86 or with Frida in 1982
so, i would to have his sounds: electronic and classic rock tones with EZ drummer but which one ?
he uses Gretsch for the kit, Ludwing for the bass pedal and Noble and Cooley for the snare drum and Paiste Cymbals
his beautiful kit had 2 china cymbals 🙂 and 3 Crash cymbals
one splash sometimes in 1985 and in 72
and 6 toms 🙂 to reproduce : ) in 1978 he had 8 toms lol 🙂
