It sounds like the same note but different octave but I’m only listening and not in front of my computer to check.

I’m not sure what I’m seeing. You’re clicking the A with your mouse? What notes change when you changed the preset?

Hi Scott,
I’ve got EZKeys and some added bits and am happy with the product except I can’t see below the working track – I lost about a quarter of the circle and have no access to the knobs at the bottom of the screen that’s shown in the manual.
I’m working on a smallish laptop with no option for a second screen and have very limited computer skills. A dropdown box below asks which version and doesn’t seem to show the one I bought 2 weeks ago which is this:
EZkeys plug-in version 1.3.3 (build 31967) [64-bit VST]
Standalone host version 1.3.3 (build 31967)
Core MIDI Library version 1.3.0SOUND LIBRARIES
GRAND PIANO version 1.0.4ADD-ON MIDI PACKS
AMERICANA version 1.1.0
BALLADS version 1.1.0
BASIC ROCK version 1.0.0
BLUES version 1.1.0
COUNTRY version 1.1.0
FOLK version 1.0.0
GOSPEL version 1.1.0
KEYS/STRINGS version 1.1.0In easy language, could you please help to get EXKeys onto fullscreen mode or at least make it movable around the screen so I can access the lower quarter when needed?
Thanks,
Kate
Operating system: Windows 10
Are you running EZkeys in standalone or as a plugin in a DAW? What screen resolution are you running? Can you post a screenshot of the problem?

Yes. Since you already own one EZkeys Instrument, you can choose the “Sound Expansion” option when purchasing.

1. If you are using the ‘Bounce Output Channels’ option to Bounce through the Mixer, each Output you use gets a Stereo Bounced Wave file.
If you Rename e.g. the ‘Out 1/2’ Output to ‘My Best Song’, the resulting Bounced file will be named ‘Out_My_Best_Song.wav’.
2. Use the Search for Instrument function when you right-click an instrument. This allows for previewing all instruments from all libraries as well as auditioning all articulations.
Unlike EZD2 that only allows you to load, say, snares to load in the snare position, Superior Drummer 3 allows you to load any instrument from any one of your installed sound libraries to any position in the kit. The Search for Instrument is an easier way to audition and load sounds.
3. That would be a good Feature Request.

Hello Scott,So I purchased SD3.
Didnt get far though with installing.
The Download manager wont open.
I cant find any compatibility charts, so I dont even know if my systems are compatible,
FYI, my computers are running Mac OS 10,14
Cant seem to see any older versions of the DM anyways.
So at a loss here.
Must be said, this is the first I encounter something like this (I own 100s if not 1000s of 3rd party ware)
Waves tend to give similar problems, but they are well documented and usually solvable.
This time I dont know where to start.
Please advise.
Regards,
David.
Sorry. I’m afraid I can’t be any help on the Mac side of things. I’d recommend contacting Toontrack directly via the Contact Support button in the FAQ below. Or one of the other mac savvy tech may chime in here.

Have you installed the latest version of EZD2? What version number shows on the EZD2 interface?

So if I read you correctly, I can do this – and wont get any error messages, even in case I DO have SD3 instances open on both machines at the same time (which is unlikely, but it just might happen, for instance when I load something that I have programmed in Cubase into Protools, once I have finished the Midi)
I usually do all my midi programming in Cubase, but will assemble everything in Protools for overdubbing live instruments and mixdown.
So this is green light?
Yes. No error messages with the 2 computers.

Under the license agreement you you can have 4 authorizations but only 2 authorized at any once and then only 1 in use at one time. It sounds like you want 3 authorized at one time yes? If you only want 2 authorized at once then, yes, 1 license is ok. If you want 3 authorized at once, you need 2 licenses.
Scott, I have a more detailed question on this subject:
I run Cubase and Protools simultaneously on two machines.
So I couldnt have SD3 open on both systems at the same time?
Is that correct?
Now that wouldn’t be much of a problem.
It would become a major problem though, if I would need to deinstall SD3 on one of the machines, as soon as I want to use Cubase and Protools at the same time, which I do 24/7.
So this is my exact question:
If I install SD3 both on Protools AND Cubase, but only have an SD3 instance open on ONE of these DAW’s, will the DAWs allow to be opened, or will they rant about missing authorisation?
This is actually a dealbreaker for me, before I buy SD3.
Thanks for clarification.
Regards,
David.
PS: I am aware this is an unusual workflow, but it has its reasons, the HDX card of Protools being one of them.
Anyways, this is my setup and it works for me. I am aware of license probs involved, not too bad though.
The bottom line is “one user”. If “YOU” are using S3 on 2 computers at once then that’s fine. The User agreement is a single user and my reply above was concerning a user “sharing” between his computer and the band’s computer which is more than a single user.

I did. They said it had to come from Toontrack.
What comes from Toontrack?
If you purchase from a third party (Guitar Center) they provide a serial number.
You then create a Toontrack account, register the serial number in the Toontrack Product Manager. Then you download and authorize your product in the Product Manager.
Are you saying Guitar Center didn’t provide a serial number and is saying Toontrack should provide it? That is not correct as they are the retailer and as such, are required to provide their customers with Toontrack product serial numbers.

Under the EZmix pack system requirements:
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS.
This is an expansion product that requires a working copy of EZmix 2 to operate.
Which version of EZmix 2 are you using?

You can install either way (download via PM or from the physical media if you have a DVD drive).
Either way, register the serial number in Product Manager and either install via download or DVDs. Then authorize in PM and install any updates available.
