    Hi,

the Audio/MIDI Setup page lets you select more than one active MIDI Input Device, yes.
Note, however, that you must be sure not to send the same notes from the two modules, since you cannot have instruments assigned to the same note from different sources. I.e. you cannot have note#38 triggering the Snare in EZD3 from one module and note#38 triggering another instrument in the same instance of EZD3 from the other module.

    Hi Steve,

if I recall correctly EZmix2 has been Silicon Native for about 1,5 years, with the exception of the AAX version, which has been native for about a year.

It is possible. This is happening for me, even though I dont want it to. Some drums play together and I cant get them separated. Its really annoying! 😄 Any ideas?

Hi, mapping one note to two instruments is not possible, so the first thing to check is X-talk. Record the MIDI when you get two triggered instruments, inspect the MIDI and check for which other note is triggered. Adjust X-talk settings in your module. If adjusting X-talk settings doesn’t work, I have seen strange things happen with faulty cables.

    Hi,

as Jord writes, you need to install a library as well as the software, they have different installers.

You will find Sound Expansion Libraries below the SD3 software in the Product Manager application.

Hi, I just installed EZDrummer3 and I only have 1 Kit instead of the 7 that are supposed to be in the core library. Everything is installed and authorized in Product Manager. Should I re-install?

    Thanks

    Operating system: macOS Monterey (12)

    Hi,

a partial install of the Library isn’t available. Either you should have everything installed or get an error message. Could you please elaborate and post screen shots of your Presets drop-downs? Where exactly are you trying to find your kits?

    Why is this happening?

    Operating system: Windows 10

    Hi,

this seems to me as if you have installed the EZdrummer 3 software but not the EZdrummer 3 Core Library, which is a separate installer.

I recently tried to install it and I am getting an alert telling me that the plug-in version 3.0.4 and the version of resources 3.0.6 are not the same. So eZ Drummer 3 won’t boot up! Help. I have windows 11.

    Operating system: Windows 11

    Hi, late reply, sorry.

This tends to be the result of moving or copying the VST .dll file post installation, which means the updater doesn’t update the .dll file being picked up by your host (since it can’t know about the move/copy operation). The Library, on the other hand, is found by the updater and then you get an updated Library but your moved/copied .dll file is still the older one, hence the mismatch and error message.

Best practice is always to point your host software to the location of the VST .dll file, or you will always have problems like this.

    Hi Shelley,

first off, your EZdrummer 1 serial is not registered to your account, so I suggest you register that product if you really need to install it on a computer.
The DVD you have is printed a long time ago, so Windows 11 compatibility is not there.

You do not need to have EZdrummer 1 installed on your system to be able to install EZdrummer 2, so if that’s the only reason for you to install EZdrummer 1, just skip it.

Do you mean the PT project or SDX or both?

Hi, just the zipped .ptx file, please.

I have purchased and downloaded EZ Drummer 3 upgrade from 2 and it was placed in my product manager file but once installed it says that the core library is damaged and I must reinstall EZ3 and presumably the core library. How do I do this?

    Thank You,

    Nigel Moore

    Hi,

using the Product Manager application, you browse to the EZdrummer 3 product and click ‘Show Details’. Then click the ‘Download’ button for the EZDrummer 3 software.
When it is downloaded you click ‘Install’ in the small hamburger menu right next to the ‘Download’ button. There is also the option to Uninstall if you wish to do that first.

Next, browse to the EZX Sound Expansions and the EZdrummer 3 Core Library. Click the ‘Show Details’ to Download and Install the full product installer, followed by the updates.

    Hi,

please provide more info; is this using the standalone and then importing to a host or is this using the plug-in in a host? Which host and version?

Which Library is used? Is the Ride cymbal from the same Library?

Is it possible for you to save a copy of the Project without any audio, zip archive it and attach to post here?

But I’m guessing just saving default preset that cuts off below 50 Hz is probably the next best thing.

Yes, for now it is not possible to save a User defined Default state for inserted effects. You wrote a feature request for this in the ‘Requests & Feedback’ section?

Anyways, if you insert an EQ on one mixer channel and select your own default preset, you do not need to do the same for each and every channel you wish to have it inserted on, you just Alt/Option + drag from the first one to copy to the next channel. Works faster that the inserting and selecting preset.

    Hi,

did you right-click the volume slider at the bottom right to assign it to CC7?

Works fine for me both in standalone and the plug-in.
