Sorry. I missed where you mentioned you had both C&V and the Vintage Add-on library. It’s not registered to your account. Sorry about that. You can still use your C&V library in S2. You haven’t lost use of it because you also have S3. Good luck with your troubles.

Jesus man. Can’t really be serious.

Miroslav it’s over mate. They’re not responding here or at Support. They’ve done the math and reasoned that the disaffected, (the people they’re effectively ripping off) are comparatively small enough in number, more likely voice, that they can afford to ignore them. I’d like to think otherwise but there has always been an arrogance here and I don’t see any change. Their model has been for a long time to virtually force you to buy overlapping products in order to get basic features or use your older samples in newer iterations. It’s wretched but not surprising that they wouldn’t offer a boxed version but a $250au ssd on top of the software purchase which includes 6 kits which at best could be described as generic, however pristine the recordings are. Massive kudos to the developers for the base plugin, it’s masterful, and so it should be for how long it took, and grudging congrats to the marketing department who gleefully worked out how to get people to pay overs for something then use up days of work time and full months of data allowance for the privilege of using it. Then they fucked up by not prepping the servers. It’s 2017, Trump’s in, we should’ve had flying cars by now. My freshly updated AD is fucking rocking right now. SD will be a glorified drum hit replacer.

This time, after two repeats of the same support answer, no response at all. I could get the pirated versions a lot quicker via a p2p. What’s that say? I now have a friend dl’ing from Sydney to then dbox to me. He’s getting 1.2mbs to my 112kbs. Toontrack you need to make a formal apology, this is on you, be a good ethical corporate and buck the trend. It’ll feel better. I have unsubscribed from your ezmix crappy side software spamming so this is the last we’ll have to do with each other. You’ve got my money, that’s all that counts.

Nothing over 450kbs here for days. Generally around 150kbs. With regular timeouts. My current dl speed is over 15mbs. Solutions so far : please send us your isp details and your speed. Then, a day later : please send us your isp details and your speed.

I’m so glad I chose to support this sampler back in the day, I just knew they would grow gracefully into a grey corporation that puts all onus on the customer. $260au please on top of the hundreds you’ve given us over the years. Here’s a download link and, oh, did we mention, you can’t use your favourite library anymore unless you buy it again at full price! Hello Addictive Drums, hello Slate, hello BFD.

    Hi,

please contact Toontrack Support directly by going to:
    https://www.toontrack.com/faq/my-issue-is-not-covered-in-this-faq-what-next/
and click ‘Contact Support’ so that they may investigate each one’s case as efficiently as possible.

The download servers are spread out over the world, so you *should* automatically be connected to the one nearest to your location.

    BR,

I’ve done this John, I just received the following :

    Hi,

Our CDN support team were unable to locate your IP in the most recent logs (which can be found by going to http://www.whatsmyip.org/ for example). It would help to also have your current download speed.

They were given the most recent available and the results of the Terminal run. Now I must wait another 12-15 hour’s for a response because you don’t have support outside the Northern Hemisphere. I anticipate the same response. And the same total lack of accountability or shame.

Thanks Scott and you’re right, nothing you’ve said sounds reasonable because it isn’t. As I’ve already stated I bought the add on too. Some extra midi and some mastering means very little. The newer Superior kits like the NY stuff and what’s coming with 3 are so god awful bland and modern rock, I’m massively disappointed by this effective theft of a large expensive library from my arsenal. That combined with yet another support email asking me for Internet details I’ve already means I will be asking for a complete refund. So disappointing after so many years of waiting for upgrades to the software that ezdrummer users have enjoyed for a long time. Bad faith

The C&V SDX was released in 2010 and at that time there was an upgrade offered. That upgrade has since been discontinued.

Why? What possible reason? I had no need to upgrade what I’d already bought. I wasn’t getting anything new other than a bit of spit and polish. That was at least an option, now it’s pretty much a f u to a long time user. If there was an upgrade path I’d take it now because I’m forced to if I want to use what I’ve paid for. But buying the same samples full price just to use them in a redesigned sampler is robbery. I’m not trying to antagonise, these are legit ethical concerns. Still waiting on 2 support tickets btw.
the math required this time is 18, which is half as long as it’s taken to download 2.3gb

Why even post that? We know it’s working for some, no need to salt the wound.

I’ve provided everything asked of my situation, looks like I’ll need to wait another day as Support appears to be Northern Hemisphere only. Looking fondly at my ancient DFH boxes full of discs. Value for money.

Yep, I didn’t even know there was a remaster until I tried to load it into S3. There doesn’t appear to be an upgrade path for owners of the C&V original. Does this mean I’d need to buy the whole thing again? If so, can you understand how that may cause some consternation? It is after all a recalibration, and already owning the add on I get no new content, merely a subtly altered version of what I own and regard as by far the best collection you’ve done. Still on 110kbs, still waiting for support.

Just returned from my gig tonight and finally got the last of the downloads completed!

The trace route request and other data I was asked to send to Toontrack provided nothing!

    1. The rollout overwhelmed the company servers?

    2. The rollout was designed in hope folks would fork over an extra $200.00 for a hard drive.

Anyway I have mine now… good luck to the rest of you!

Well thanks William. Yours is the only post for hours regarding this. I’m happy for you but I’m very close to requesting a refund for various reasons, this not the least among them.

Anybody? Anything? This is really crap. I’ve also just discovered that I can’t use my C&V and will need to pay for and download a ‘remastered’ version of it just to use in my shiny new, as yet unusable, sampler. Love your products guys, very much not loving everything else. Surely you have support for your customers in the Southern hemisphere?

130kbs. 100hours for the first basic install. Guys, pooch=screwed. I’m on super fast broadband fibre to the premises. There’s something very wrong with your implementation. Not liking a lot about this massively overdue update. Would have paid just for the plugin had you given us loyal users the option. Please update us about the issues you are working to resolve regarding the downloading. Oh, it’s just changed to 1000 hours. 22kbs.Confused

    Hi guys,
I love my EZdrummer 2 and EZmix and I am always happy to hear about news/offers/sales concerning those products. Regrettably, almost all I am getting the past few month is Superior Drummer upgrade offers I am not interested in. Yell

They are spam. So I unsubscribed from your mailing list. Let me know when you have something else to offer.

    Regards,
    Frank

It’s really disgusting guys. Stop it. If you’d actually update SD you might have something to advertise but this is just salt in the wound.
