The alternating feature will only work within the library the kicks comes from, e.g. you can’t load the Metal Foundry kicks to Progressive Foundry and have them automatically alternate. And from kits/libraries that are designed with double bass drums.

So, in that case, you’d need to change the Notes manually (notes 35 and 36 for example) as Mark King indicated.

I’m with you though, should be possible. I’ll ask the programmers if it is

Thank you for your time, sorry for my english, I’m French Canadian and very far from being IT expert. I try to generate a bass line from an ezdrummer beat as shown in the video at the point #7 in ezbass manual. When I dragg a drum midi file from ezdrummer 2 into ezbass drums & keys, I see the 4 types of rhythms boards and hear bass plays but without drumms. In this video, drumms plays with the bass. I tought I couls hear both drumms and bass at this point.  That is what I mean by ”together”.  Thanks again

Yes, the video shows EZbass and S3 in Pro Tools. They are all in playback sync in the DAW. What DAW do you have both EZD2 and EZbass loaded into? If you just have both loaded as Standalone applications, they will not sync.

Is there a trick to connect ezdrummer to ezbass? Aren’t they supposed to connect together just with the down loads? As far as I can see, both of them works fine but not together, Is there any help?

How do you mean together? In your DAW? In standalone? What doesn’t work as you think it should?

And what does the bounce produce? I’ve tried a few test bounces with those settings and I always get a single file stereo for named Out 1+2.

Thanks, for the quick response. The reason to purchase from Sweetwater is the 48 months no interest. If i bought straight from Toontrack, I would have to put it on my credit card at 24%. So theres incentive to buy from Sweetwater. I just want to know if I bought a regular 6 pack of midi files, can I choose different titles when it comes time to register the product or am i stuck with the 6 pack or pre-determined titles (many of which make no sense buying together).

I’ve asked Toontrack Support. This the reply I received regarding Sweetwater’s EZkeys MIDI Bundles:

“At Sweetwater it is typically only individual MIDI titles where the customer can get a generic serial that lets them choose what they want. The bundles for MIDI and EZmix packs have titles pre-selected that cannot be changed.”

Solo was a program to host old Toontrack samplers. EZD1 and S2.

Since the latest version, EZD2 and S3, were released, they have standalone versions that do not require Solo at all.

That is why Solo will not host S3.

Can you take a screenshot of the Advanced Bounce settings you have? From the info provided, I have no idea why it’s not working.

The Toontrack Webshop allows for a custom Ezkeys MIDI pack. You select the 6 from the menu at time of purchase.

I’m not sure what bundles Sweetwater is selling or how it works on their online store. If you have a Sweetwater sales rep, you should reach out to them and see how it’s handled.

What type of instrumentation would be considered Cinematic? Things beyond what is already found in the Orchestral  SDX…timpani, taiko, bass drums, snares, toms, tamtams and more.

Or, are you looking for a more stripped down “EZ” version instead of the Superior version?

Check out all the Cinematic audio demos on the Orchestral SDX page below.

In the Advanced section of Bounce (see the manual) you select Bounce Output Channels, if you have all channels routed to output 1/2 (default) you will get a single stereo wav file mix.

Open EZD2 in standalone. Click the Help menu and look at “Show Plugin Path” Copy the location.  Open Cubase and add the path in the plugin manager.

S3 is more advanced than EZD2 and has an extensive Bounce facilities. Please check the Bounce section of the S3 manual for all the details.

Are you using EZD2 or S3? If you have a MIDI file on the Song Track you can right click and select “Show in browser” to locate the file again.
