I’ve cleared all inactive authorizations in your account. You should be all set.

That error is automatically generated when an account has 4 authorizations/de-authorizations on a product over a short time period (4 used in a month).

I only see 1 serial number of the Seventies Rock EZX registered to your account and it was registered today.

If you have an order number for both purchases, and want to pursue a refund, you can contact Toontrack directly via the Contact Support button in the FAQ below.

Ok, so you have the EZX Seventies Rock MIDI showing?

You say you already had that MIDI pack? It isn’t sold as a separate MIDI pack, only with the EZX so I don’t know what you’re referring to there.

There is no 70s EZX and I really have no idea where it came from.

I did a quick search of the forum and this has popped up one other time (see below). If you have the Seventies Rock EZX MIDI showing, you can delete that 70s EZX folder manually.

Try restoring the MIDI Database from the advanced setting menu.

YEAH!!!!!!! So the issue actually existed with SD3, EZbass and EZkeys but only within the DAW. Outside of the DAW each program on it’s own is ok. However, when I build a drum line (for example) outside of the DAW then drag and drop into the DAW the same problem exists.

Success…….I changed the sample size up (512) within the Toontrack software and the problem when away :). I was changing it within the DAW only. The sample size within the DAW is set to 256 and all is good.

Thanks for talking through this with me.

You shouldn’t have the standalone and DAW versions of S3/EZD2/EZkeys/EZbass open at the same time. The standalone versions are when not using a DAW (say edrum or just playing with a keyboard). When using in a DAW, load the plugin version only in the DAW.

So, latency settings in the Standalone versions only when not with your DAW open. Then, if you want to use them in your DAW, the DAW settings will be used.

Can you please supply specific instructions on how to add a specific articulation to an existing preset?….for example….I like the country rock punch preset kit……

but, I need a sidestick on snare, this doesn’t exist in kit…..EXACTLY how do I make this avalable? Please be specific, I didn’t understand your previous reply

See this section of the S3 manual:

    https://www.toontrack.com/manual/superior-drummer-3/3/3-4-drums-tab-header-bar

Scroll to the Articulation Menu section.

In S3, select the snare in your kit and make sure the Sidestick articulation is turned on in that menu.

Hi Scott, I’ve attached screen shots of the .dll from standalone and a few others that might help…

I’m able to drag a midi file from the EZD2 browser and Reaper plays it back perfectly…

Still no input from the controller as a standalone or thru Reaper? What needs to be done to get EZ drummer to recognize input from the controller???

    It’s driving me crazy???

Thank You for helping with this!

I don’t use Reaper so I’m just riffing here… maybe posting on the Reaper forum might be a good idea.

What’s the difference between Impact XL61 and MIDIIN2 (Impact XL61)? Have you tried both?

Fps (frames per second) shouldn’t make a difference as it refers to sync with video.

What is the highest setting you can go with your buffer? 1024? 2048? Try the highest setting.

Also, can you try and use the S3 standalone (not in your DAW) and confirm that the issue is there or not?

Does this happen with every kit and/or preset or just some?

I’m unable to input drum sounds from my Impact LX61+...

I’m unable to input drum sounds from my Impact LX61+ while in Reaper.  Input monitoring and record are enabled.  It works fine in stand alone mode, but not as an FX instance in Reaper. EZ Drummer 2 does play midi files back in Reaper, but I’m not able to input anything manually or even get any kind of signal to show up on the midi track.  Also, the controller  does work with no issues playing Kontakt instruments. What am I missing? Thanks

After rescanning and trying a few things, Now Reaper won’t even recognize EZD2 ??? I still works in stand alone mode???

    Please Help!  Thanks

Is the Reaper path to the EZD2 plugin the same as the EZD2 standalone? Check the plugin path from the ? Menu in EZD2 standalone. Has the ezdrummer.dll been copied or moved from its original install location? Have you updated from the Toontrack Product Manager?

    Hi Scott,

Still unable to download the newly purchased EZX pack. Has there been a fix for this issue?

    kind regards,

    j

    Operating system: macOS Catalina (10.15)

The latest version if EZD2 is 2.2.1 so I’m not sure why Product Manager isn’t showing an update available if you’re running 2.1.8.

Not being a Mac guy, the next step would be to open a support ticket with Toontrack directly via the Contact Support button in the FAQ below. I’m sorry I don’t have a better solution at this point.

You get the clicks when running S3 in Standalone and in DAW or just in DAW? Do the clicks stop if you raise the buffer higher than 256?

    Hi

I’ve just got ezbass and like it.  But one thing really slows work down, unless I’m missing something…

So I select a groove, add it to the song track and adjust the chords.  If I decide the groove’s not quite right, surely I can replace it with another groove but keep the chords I’ve entered?  But I can’t see how.

The 8 bars I’m working on involve 14 chord changes so it would be incredibly slow and frustrating if I had to re-enter them each time I try a different groove.

Please tell me I’ve missed something!

    Thanks

    Andy

There are 3 separate Lanes in the Song Track: Song Parts, Chords, and MIDI. They can be manipulated separately. If you want to keep the Chords, drag and drop MIDI from the Browser to the MIDI Lane only. Or, you can use the Replace MIDI function that allows the chord progression to remain unchanged as you brows the MIDI in the Browser.

See the link below in the EZbass Manual and the video at the top to see how it works.

    Hi,

I’m having the same issue. All updates are completed and EZX2 is saying “up-to-date” and “ready to use” in the TPM.

I get the “you need to update your toontrack drum sampler to the latest version before you can install this product” message but EZX2 is all up-to-date. The new expansion pack is downloaded but won’t install.

    can you help?

    regards.

    Operating system: macOS Catalina (10.15)

What does EZD2 show in the details in Product Manager? What version is showing as installed?
