    Many thanks Scott.

Are you able to help with the damping question?

Without hearing an audio example or seeing the project file I have no idea.

Is this in standalone or in a DAW? Do you have any CC messages activating damping in your DAW?

I’ve “unspammed” the post. Yes it’s a spam filter when posts are edited quickly. We just need to review and upspam them when necessary.

The Show Webshop is doing its job. The 2 things listed in your screenshot are expansion libraries that can be purchased in the webshop.

One is an EZX library and one is an SDX library. It’s showing that you need to purchase them to get the sound you want. It’s not indicating you can get brush swirls with the sound libraies you have. And if, like you say, you understand the technical logic (you obviously can’t get brush swirls when you have a stick kit loaded), I don’t see the problem.

Those grooves listed in your pic will trigger the brush swirls. However, you have the EZD2 modern kit sound library loaded which isn’t a brushes kit so it won’t trigger brush sounds. You need a library with a brushes kit. I believe the Jazz EZX and the Big Band EZX libraries are a good start.

Are you working on a better version of the mic placement/setup that is more basic for non drummers?

I don’t believe so. What about the mic listing seems confusing and how would you suggest it be simpler?

Scott, it’s showing up in my profile as a new product. It’s called Jazz midi. The attached screenshot.

Yes. It is not EZkeys MIDI. It is listed under “Drum MIDI” in your pic. It will not appear in the EZkeys MIDI browser but will in your EZD2 browser.

When the MIDI from a drum MIDI pack is the same as an EZX or SDX, it is indicated on the product page. For example,

Please note that this is the same MIDI as included in the Indiependent SDX.

Scott Sibley, I just bought the Jazz piano and installed it. It’s not showing up. Could you help me with that?

    Thanks

I do not see that you purchased Jazz piano MIDI. I see that you purchased Jazz drum MIDI. That MIDI pack will show in EZD2 or S3 MIDI browser.

I need help moving sound libraries to an external drive. I want to keep the first 3 parts of the core library in my windows 10 pc, but want the others on my external hdd.

Reply To: Moving Superior Drummer 3 to an external drive version: 3.2.6

All parts of the library need to be in the same drive location. Either internal or external.

When you ran the 64-bit installer shown in that thread, what happened? Did the installer run to completion? Did you get an error massage? Does Program Manager indicate it was installed or did it show there is still an update?

If it did actually install, do a windows search for the ezdrummer.dll and you should then see 2. One in C:\Program Files (64-bit location) and one in C:\Program Files (x86) (32-bit location). If there is only the 32-bit version, are you logged in as administrator?
