Can you give more details? What is the exact error message and where are you seeing it? Are you installing through the Toontrack Product Manager? What are your system details?

I am trying to open EZdrummer 3 on my PCI, but can’t authorize any of my downloads, I downloaded PM, but it won’t install the zip file. I also cannot find the computer ID as the serial number or product numbers do not work. I appreciate any help.
Operating system: Windows 8.1
My guess is you’re not installing from the Toontrack Product Manager. There is no zip file to open when installing from the Product Manager.
Please watch the walk-through video on each step: Download, install, and authorize your product.

If you’re actually authorizing from the Toontrack Product Manager and not when you open the EZD3 plugin, then you shouldn’t be asked for a Computer ID.
In the Toontrack Product Manager program there is a big red Authorize Button. See the video below.
If you are getting an error, please post a screenshot of what’s going on. Or, if you’re getting an error in Product Manager please post a pic.

Can’t Authorize is just BS over pay and be treated like dirt they need to stop the BS
What exactly is your authorization problem? Please give more details if you actually want help.

If you’re really using EZD 2.1.8, the requirement stated from the product page is “a working EZdrummer 2.2.1 (or above)”

Thanked by: The DoormanBefore I check out I was wondering same thing I want to buy this for my son . If I just not click auto register and it all should be good to go for him ? I just want to make sure before the purchase goes through that I do everything correctly

That’s correct. Don’t auto register to your account and you’ll receive an order confirmation with serial numbers for you to pass along to someone else to then register to their account.

You should be able to split using the split tool to the left of the Song Track header bar.

If you’re referring to this product:
https://www.toontrack.com/product/black-metal-midi/
then it should appear in the Grooves Tab. It’s a MIDI drum pack and not a sound library.

The different Tracks in the Song Track of S3 is meant for trying various arrangements or versions of sections not for multi track playback. There’s no way to play multiple S3 Song tracks back at the same time.

Unfortunately not any more.
The S2 to S3 upgrade was discontinued on December 31, 2018. The upgrade was available for about 18 months after the release of S3.
