I’ve also requested a punk midi library in the past! hopefully they’ll create one soon! I plan on buying the brooks Wackerman pack from platinum samples.. just too pricey.. i’ve bought the groove monkee punk one.. and if you haven’t bought it yet.. save your money! What i would love to see from Toontrack is a SDX of drums similar to Evil Drums.. but sampled by toontrack and more useable!…I’d love to have a SDX full of DW, Pork Pie, OCDP, Truth, Shine, Dark Horse, C&C… you get the idea. I’d kill to have a few OCDP Snares on my tracks.. or a Pork Pie Acrylic snare! mmmnnn! a Punk midi library though is a must! and done right too! I library composed of Travis Barker, Cyrus Bolooki, Atom Willard, Brooks Wackerman,.. just fast, catchy, and sometimes technical drums, I’d pay good money for that! I own all the metal packs, but i can never find what im looking for in there.. i always have to take a groove and edit it a lot to get even close to what i kinda want! I’d love to get an electric kit.. have my drummer do all the beats im looking for and save them inside Superior or in my midi files to use them later but i cant figure out how to do that! and all the tutorials are not that easy to understand!

I write that type of music, but honestly the ez mix 2 packs wont just give you that sound, they will just enhance it, You need to get the best sound going in to your DAW. I own every Guitar amp simulator under the sun… and they all suck. They don’t really feel real to me. right now i own a Blackstar HT stage 60. and I run out of the emulated output into my Daw. and then I stick 2 mics on the speakers.. Normally a sm57 and sennhesier e609 and blend the signals together. to be honest.. those bands use some heavy duty amps like Mesa Rectifiers.. that is the sound of pop punk, your best bet is to get an amp like that, mic it up and go for it. Next on my list for purchase is a Kemper Profiling amp (greatest invention ever.. i may add… every amp tone you could ever want is in that box) + A community online who submits their amps. a kemper paired with all the toontrack products.. you’ll be unstoppable. Sorry for the long post.. im ranting. I hope my information helped you a little bit! Just remember. don’t rely on a program, Get good tones going in.. you never wanna “fix it in the mix!” i own almost all the EZ mix packs.. and i plan on buying Dirt and the Randy Staub one this weekend.. Dirt is geared at more punk sounds.. good punk bands like Refused and stuff. maybe check that out! plus as cool as it sounds, you don’t wanna copy someones tone. Take elements from theirs and craft your own! Just take a day and experiment with whatever amp you have, Get that exact tone, mic it up, play around with positions, get exactly w hat you’re looking for, take notes, make measurements and markings so you’ll know in the future how to get it!

Where can i get Library of the extreme 2? or which one is it? cause on the site they have, death and thrash, blast and fills and fill insanity.. looking at all them i think you’re probably referring to Death and Thrash. Just wanted to make sure. For 29$ i could pick it up and give a try at least. ill just bundle it with the Dirt and Randy Staub Ez Mix expansions and maybe ill pick up the brooks wackerton midi grooves from platinum samples.. i think from what i read if you buy the songs, it actually seperates the songs for you so you dont have to drag the whole damn midi file in there and then cut and paste.

Also I forgot to mention.. another thing that would be cool about this expansion is if it came with alot of the popular kits they play.. Such as OCDP, DW, Dark Horse, Just all those custom kits! =) I would so buy that expansion if it ever existed!
