TBH, I don’t think they will update the existing ones, because once the session is recorded, it’s over, and replicating the exact same conditions for recording additional notes would be a huge effort. I’m also grieving a bit over the fact that some of these EBXes are missing articulations. I think all future releases should include slaps, vibratos, pick/finger, etc. ALL OF THEM basically, to keep this instrument consistent. Also, for the ability to swap the sound of the bass in a song without losing all the articulations, as it is now.
Having extra bow notes in Upright would be a super bonus. That’s quite common to play by mixing finger style and bowing. Maybe one day they will record a brand new upright bass with all of the bells and whistles 🙂

But anyhow, I came here thinking “the bug” is obvious enough and everyone with even average headphones can replicate it and confirm as well. That’s what I count on. I’m at work already (AWST time) and will be able to do more when I get back to my home studio. I hope that explains why I can’t present any samples yet for the lazy ones or for the ones at work or for those who don’t own EZKeys 2.
BTW I would still encourage people to buy it just for the features if they need them, but definatelly not for the sound of the piano with defects.
Nice try, but I don’t actually feel offended at all by the sound of this piano. I feel different, namely disappointed. I think it was very easy to eliminate these unpleasant resonances and I’m 100% sure that Toontrack is more than aware of them.
EDIT: if you keep editing your answers because you feel like being a d…k doesn’t help anyone, then that’s fine. It just that my answers don’t make much sense If they address the deleted… Anyhow, have a good day and come back please if you have something valuable to say.

Sure. Do you have a bucket of time to lend? In the meantime – unsure what’s your gear you’re listening on, but I tried on three different pairs of headphones, including HD600, and my monitors as well. I loaded best VSTi pianos I have, which are oldish but still goldish, used the same short MIDI that I recorded for this test, just few notes really, and I tell you something – if you can’t hear this flanger building up beetween C4 and C6 then I would go drumming if I was you. Just kidding. Please don’t feel offended. We have too many offended people nowadays.
I came here to ask the same and I found this topic. My Product Manager welcomed me today with multiple updates and few new downloads to do. I have 95 products and it really hurts to go one by one. A bulk silent install and update options would be fantastic!
Hey Scott, thanks for your reply, but more than seeing the price at the checkout we need to see the correct prices while we’re browsing the products. SEK currency tells us nothing and it’s actually quite frustrating at the moment. You run your sales during that period of time, we’re getting your emails, we click on links and go to your site and what do we see? You need to pay someone to finally fix it properly, because your prices problem has a long beard now. Thank you for all your hard work and great products.
Yeah it started showing me in SEK too (I’m in the land down under) BUT it shows me also approx in AUD underneath, so at least I know how much it is in AUD. But what worries me is the overall calculation I added one of the older SDXes, which is currently on sale, to the cart and it shows me 959 SEK ($152 AUD) which is way too much already and in addition it does not accept my discount code despite what’s written in the email (discounts should add). Hard to buy anything at the moment…
please check your address and Country in your Profile. The web shop should pick the currency based on your location.

Could you please correct Australia then as it shows EUR. The preference is USD (if there is no AUD option). I double checked everywhere I could and can’t see where I could correct it myself.
