Do you mean graphically? If so – it does 🙂 If you load the default Drums and Mixer preset, and play the topmost MIDI groove in the Grooves tab – the foot pedal moves when it closes and opens the hi-hat. Maybe I misunderstand you here?

Will the loop points also reflect the DAW’s and vice versa? (also a ReWire thing)
Thanks, Â
No, that is another thing that the DAW doesn’t share with the plugins (Superior Drummer 3 for example). Vice versa, the DAW doesn’t listen to what loop points plugins are using.
Unfortunately – due to (many different) reasons – a ReWire version is not planned at this stage.

Another way to inspect incoming MIDI is to use the MIDI Monitor property box in the Drums View. There’s also a monitor in the E-drums settings page, if you are in that area and setting up your e-drums.

The 55 GB is a space required for installers, which can be removed after installation. So a 250 GB external drive is enough for the sound library, as long as you have the required 55 GB on your local disk 🙂 If not, report back here and we’ll see how that can be solved!

The Drums and Mixer Presets have changed names (and folder structures) during our pre-release state. So some videos and images will show different orders of the presets, but all the presets are still there in the final release, just re-organized 🙂 We have also added more presets than seen in the older videos/images.

Hi, sorry for the delay. As you wrote, we have lots of stuff to do these days 🙂
I think I know what’s causing your confusion. When you hit your pad, you are playing the trig articulation – correct?
When the trig pad selects what articulation to play (center for example), it doesn’t currently play the stack – it only plays that articulation. So, as you say, if you want to use a stack when playing on the trig articulation – you could add a stack to the trig articulation.
We will look into this, since the stack should be triggered from the trig articulation – not just one articulation.

I jus found a (weird) solution. At the ‘MIDI-in/E-drums’ tab, I chose Roland first, but then the hi hat did NOT trigger well.
Then……….. I used the ‘GENERIC’ preset, and all works 100% perfect.
Â
Is there a difference for you if you have “Generic” selected vs. if you first select “Roland” then select “Generic” again?

Oh ok, so it’s the Song Track. Song Creator is actually just the thing that pops up above the Song Track when you click that button – but it’s not so easy for you guys to keep track of all the namings 🙂
We have fixed the issue where the play head didn’t follow the hosts when you just moved it (without playing). It will be released in a coming update.

Bought the SD3 upgrade now. Is it possible to change interface colors? Everything is so black.
There is only one color scheme available.
PS SD2 had an “alternate” setting for bassdrums…left right left right…or you could disable that and only one bass drum was used unless you entered different midi numbers. Where’s this setting in SD3?
The property box Hit Variations is what use to be called Humanize in SD2 🙂 The function “Use Alternate Hits” is what you are looking for.

There seems to be a bug that makes Show in Browser disabled after you load a saved project (in the standalone, or in a DAW). Can this be the bug you are experiencing?
We will look at it and get it out in an update as soon as possible.

Anyone else find this isn’t working? From the Midi Track where you have dragged your Midi part to, when you click on Find/Show in Browser, this is greyed out.. I use this a lot to find out where I took the midi pack from – I never remember, I have too many Midi packs..
We need to know a bit more about what’s happening here to find the bug.
– Do you change the grooves (using Edit Play Style, Grid Editor or similar)?
– Have you cut or merged the grooves?
– Does Show in Browser work from the beginning, but when you have worked on the project for a while, the menu item gets disabled?

6- Better synchronization between song creator’s cursor and DAW cursor. As of now, not working well with Cubase 9.0.30.
Can you explain this problem more in detail?
Is it that the grooves in Song Creator is out of sync with Cubase? Or only visually?

Have you enabled the TD-50 MIDI Device in “Settings / Audio/Midi Setup…”?

Unfortunately it’s not currently possible. We are, however, aware of this being a wanted feature so it’s not forgotten. We can’t, as usual, comment on what, or when, we will add features in coming updates.
Thanks for the feedback!
