Thanks Andreas, I appreciated your help and taking the time to try the conversion.
Still unclear on the Bar Offset see the pic
I have no to way to TRY SD3 to see if it will convert the wav to midi accurately other than spending US$319. What is the best way to find out if it will ?
Will SD3 give a 2 bar count-in -1 0 1 or just one bar 0 1 ?

Tracker will do it’s best to pick out the kit pieces. For example, bring the stereo into Tracker and set it detect the kick. Bring the same file in and set it to detect the snare. Same for rack tom. And so on. You very well may need to manually tweak things but it does a good job in my option.
I can’t see any SD3 Demo to try the Tracker so I uploaded a stereo drum mix to convert to midi:

Also have they added the Bar Offset for count-ins as requested, understood and implemented here with one reply:

but caused so much confusion here: https://www.toontrack.com/forum/ezkeys-help/bar-offset-for-count-in/
Thanks,
Bob.
Attila is on to it instantly here “I try to implement it shortly.”:

“I start every project in Cubase on bar 3”
“My EZD2 Song Track syncs with the Reaper pre-roll count in and doesn’t start playback until the 2 bar pre-roll is over.”
Ok so that is how it should be done, the way you do it, I can force myself to do it that way if you want me to but it don’t help me in the standalone making up a drum track from that sheet music I sent you (that lines fine up with your bar 3 song start), that is saved as audio for say adobe audition that is set with a 2 bar offset for a drummer’s count-in, are you ok doing the bar offset in your head each time, oh no that’s not bar 48 that’s bar 50.
EZD2 is fantastic I know that you don’t need to be defensive over it, but it still has room for improvement.
Thanks.

I haven’t installed any update since buying EZK-EZD2 can anyone tell me in there was a bar offset fix to have the option to start the bar @ -2 to allow for a 2 bar count-in in the DAW’s ?
Thanks.
If you use count-in with your DAW. . .
Which DAW are we talking about?…
Please explain the purpose of dragging…
Thanks. I understand the idea & concept of a count-in….
Answer: a simple NO or YES would of done.
Sorry man it is just frustrating having to explain a simple standard thing,
Thanks.
I’m talking about the sheet music I sent you.
Hey, I have not been sitting here not being able to do anything for years because there is no bar offset. Anyone can do all the workarounds suggested,
I’m not trying to make EZD2 harder for people to use, it’s just that the word EZ=EASY.
It’s an OPTION that is being asked for not a mandatory usage for those use to starting a song on bar 3.
A 2 bar count-in would mean ezd2 is starting on bar 3, can you see the bar numbers on ezd2 timeline they are numbers for a reason, would the daw bar numbers correspond to the bars in ezd2 ? A drum track has a count-in, when you produce a drum track you need a count-in.
It is a simple bar offset adjustment that is being asked for, that’s all.
If you look in your daw you should have a bar offset adjustment so when you use a 2 bar count-in the bar numbers will remain accurate -101234678….

Please explain the purpose of dragging the “count-in MIDI” into the EZDrummer2 timeline.
It is perfectly acceptable to leave empty space in the EZDrummer2 timeline.
The guitarist starts playing on beat 1 of bar 1 so he knows when to start playing and what tempo to play at drummers do a count-in, if the bars are left blank as you suggest they won’t pick up the time. In ezd2 timeline there are bar numbers same as a daw. When I’m producing a drum track in the standalone for musician to record to I need a count-in then as I make it up I need the correct bar numbers showing, when I add a 2 bar count-in to ezd2 the song starts on bar 3 when it should be bar 1 so all the way thru the “timeline” the time showing is out by 2 bars. This is the main reason that daw’s have a bar offset adjustment.
A two-bar percussive and verbal count off played on a closed hi-hat
More information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Count_off
Reaper but I’m sure others would be the same, say when I’m recording I need a 2 bar count-in like 1—2—1234 I set it to start on -1 so that’s -1—0—1—2—3—4—5—6— I drag the 2 bar count-in midi to ezdrummer2 track, it plays the count-in but starts on it’s bar 1 as you can’t set the bar offset so when the daw is on bar 8 ezd2 is on it’s bar 10. So when you are editing the drumming it is not on the same bar number. It is the same problem in the standalone if you are making up a tack with a count-in.
No. when the daw’s are set to 2 bar offset they start playing the count in on bar -1 (2 bar count in) EZK EZD starts playing on bar 1 so it is 2 bars out on the bar numbers, anyway I need EZD to play the count in.
Yes I requested it also but but look no further, at least someone heard:
