so i have not bought it
the demos were really different from the official demos sometimes
for some ezx, some are better than the demos, some have the hidden sounds
in fact, we can’t have a real opinion of each presets of each ezx in general
cos most times we don’t know them very well
the official demos don’t show all the the presets-sounds

trad country ezx : it sounds natural with some good snares but dark with the mood which was made to sound like an old recording-indie folk ez : the LUDwig rock snare sounds good enough but not enough to buy it just for thatcustom shop ezx : it sounds natural but not bad and not amazingreggae : it sounds thin so, nopop-punk does not sound raw enough for me but it’s good for a specific sound (radio hits, metal, some pop -punk of course but not Green day dookie, what a pity !!! i wanted to have this sound )You like drums, iconic sounds and drum plugins ?

-i have alt rock ezx: some snares are really good- real-raw
but there is a lack of something every time vs SDD3 which sounds perfect but 235 gb !!!! +the price : 235gb is not possible for me now
So, i wanted to go on with the EZX
even if when i listen to native instruments studio drummer for example (amazing snares) it sounds better in the demos (real-raw)Then, the best is to go and listen to the demos in the midi packs pages

the demos sound better than in the EZX pages
so, i have found the best snares that i have not yet (and not with a dark mood )
there are
- Classic ezx : tight snare, natural (i really don’t know if it sounds a little bit dark) and there are 2 good videos in youtube
- Progressive ezx (the crunchy preset, the Pearl preset sound really good here
– Americana ezx : it sounds real (but less than superior drummer 3)
– Made of metal ezx : i don’t know because it sounds really different in the demos – official demos vs the other demos from youtubersthe official demo sounds better but only in Youtube not in the website!

Participantyou are not 100% happy with SDD3 and i would like to have SDD3 not thinking i would be happy for all the sounds too lol
so, if you want to stay with EZD 2 +EZX

and EZD2 too
With EZD2 +EZX (i have a lot of EZX), i would say
for the 80’s> rock ! and EZD2
for Bon jovi the 80’s > try solid rock ezx or Hard rock EZX (Bob Rock) or with a good settings with EZD2 too
for green day, wait for the pop punk EZX (but you know Green day is band of the 90’s not 80’s)
alt rock EZX has great natural snares : it’s a versatile pack
but for the kinds of snares (80’s)
>Metal ! ezx has a snare to play like in the 80’s
> Hard rock ezx too (think about Scorpions in 1984)
