i will say that some ezx sound better than the demos but some of them sound dark everywhere

big rock ezx and it is in  mono for some presets

seventies rock ezx

trad country ezx ?

blues ezx : no modern blues ?

progressive ezx  a little bit (i was disappointed with this one for some presets )

why? we don’t know , it s their  choice

The little parts we can hear do not necessary a lot of things except what you already have = dream pop and ez drummer 2

just  add some reverb / compression

this kind of 80’s-sweet snare is in a lot of products : Garage band, EZD 2, pop punk ezx, progressive ezx, hard rock ezx

uk pop first preset , custom shop ezx, metal ! ezx with the reverbathon kit

just add some reverb too in all the sounds

Short answer ) but thank you very much !

the last presets of the  4 mics set up sound very punchy like i imagined but less than the  other video

i suppose that adding more tension to the tuning can make it punchier

For punchy snares, with a good tuning and setting: uk pop is really good without the strength of superior drummer 3

i wanted the traditional ezx just for one snare but i am sure it sounds dark

i wanted the custom shop ezx but hard to decide

if you want i can make a demo soon of all the presets of

progressive ezx  : great snares, interesting, versatile but sometimes i hoped it could be brighter, it can sound dark too

there is a special detuned like in a song of George Michael in the 80’s 🙂 like a drum machine

there are natural rock snares too

• The other is pop punk but there are some full demos (sometimes the snares does not look sound like a snare! it s really modern and compressed)
• the last one is americana EZX because i wanted the most natural sounding about the snares
• something which sound real not buying superior drummer 3
• now i have all the best that Toontrack can do about the snares
• i really want superior drummer 3 but without 235Gb, not interesting to pay just to add 40 gb?

it was like a big quest

i think one of my favorite will always be pop/rock EZX : perfect for a snare from the 90’s to today

but less natural than UK POP which can sound like Nada Surf or Police when the other reminds me more Phil Collins  -Genesis in the 90’s

Hi Joe!

i Know  and i like your Youtube  channel and your videos who helped me to choose the good EZX 🙂

I like the big one you created : more than 30 minutes !

but it would be cool to change the sounds for just some hits on the snares or some rhythms

because with only some hits we can know if we like the snares or not : if they are sweet, punchy, modern, disco, metal, rock or not

if it’s in mono, Stereo, if the mix is modern or not : for example Nashville EZX sounds really modern

and not the traditional EZX which has an old mix of the 50’s like they said (it be can darker in my opinion and i don’t like that )

 

About the EZX  the classic , it is supposed to have a vintage feel-touch, soft snares and your links show that : a soft sound

(the opposite would be pop/rock EZX)

but in  this video, it shows some sounds (snares) that are very punchy and natural

for pop rock and more and not soft at all

Listen this at 5’12” and 4’18”

the problem is that i have seen many videos in Youtube and this is the only one which gives these rock snares -sounds

so, i have not bought this EZX because the other videos showed something like a muffled sound, sweet sounds for the snares

like in the official page for the demos, so i really don’t know if the classic EZX could sound like the sounds in the link

I really would like something like a new EZX rock or pop rock with some sounds like that
