EZmix is a separate plug-in.
So yes, you can use EZdrummer and EZmix at the same time as long as your computer can handle it.
You wouldn’t use EZmix in EZdrummer, it’s just an fx plug-in that you’d add to your channel or as an auxiliary.

On my Mac, EZdrummer’s midi installed as a folder in Library > Application Support > EZdrummer > Midi
The equipment list (each piece extensively multi-sampled) is listed on the EZdrummer product page at Toontrack.com.
You should also have an extensive midi library that comes with the product (that’s where you’d find ‘fills’ for example).
Nine times out of ten these install issues turn out to be operator error.
The pattern on the forum is a well worn path. new user uses first ever post to declare Toontrack are $h*t and the product is the worst ever.
A day later they are posting how great the customer service is and how much they love the product.

Describe the install process as you’ve undertaken it and where the process fails.
I’m on a Mac and found the installs always straight forward and easy (FWIW)
