Hi! I am also migrating to Linux. Is there a marketplace to sell the licenses of Toontrack products? I have seen a few forums where people do that. As of now it seems Ugritone and MT Power DrumKit 2 are available as native Linux options, so if I was not bound by the fact that I bought Superior Drummer and EZDrummer in the past, I can re-allocate resources for other software. MT Power is freeware though, but is still quite good.

Hi! I’m jumping on the Necrowagon here. I made an attempt at Wine-ing SD3 on Manjaro, but eventually had to succumb because the UI didn’t respond to clicks. The audio was there without latency however, so I was moderately close to succeeding. In fact, almost all of my required programs have Linux support as of now: Reaper, Harrison Mixbus, Pianoteq and all the included plugins the DAWs come with. It’s the fact that I paid for SD3 that I can’t migrate from Windows because using SD3 is still too technical and volatile without native Linux support for me.

I must add my voice to this. I am on the brink of switching to Linux. All I need is for Superior Drummer 3 to support Linux to do it, and I am set.

I can’t imagine that creating a Linux port is particularly difficult to make. I can definitely tolerate a few graphical compromises.
