    Hi chaps,

Yes I’m aware the screenshot I linked was from EZKeys but I was simply trying to show you what I’m used to in EZD3 (as describing it would have been difficult).

I’ve never seen the browser like this in Bandmate before – it’s always looked like it and now all of a sudden its switched to this cumbersome view without easily being able to audition specific grooves whilst synced to the track. Its incredibly annoying!

The Bandmate tab in EZD3 has always looked like that since release in  2022.

You may be confusing Bandmate and Tap2Find.

This is what the Tap2Find search results look like in EZD3.

I would think using copy/paste between DAW and a plugin would would be the same as a drag and drop as far as the DAW is concerned.

It’s a limitation with the DAW. Some DAWs allow dragging from DAW to a plugin. Most don’t.

Anyway, the bass guitar plays terribly in certain places in the midi file, so using this for a vst in mixcraft is not recommended. I’ll probably look for something more stable in this area. But thanks for all the help.

Before abandoning all hope entirely, have you at least tried transposing the MIDI file up an octave to see if it helps?

They’re should be a setting on the TD50 to set Local Control to off.

If you think you need S3, there is a crossgrade purchase option from EZD3 to S3.

You could contact Toontrack directly via the Contact Support button in the FAQ below to see if they can offer some other refund type solution.

What do you mean “module”? E-drum kit module? Or are you asking if you should have purchased S3 instead of EZD3?

I always recommend S3 for the most control with e-drums. It’s the most tweakable option.

They’re are simplified controls in EZD3 but yes, there is. Not exactly as tweakable as S3.

Check out the link below to the manual and see the Hi hat Pedal Setting section.

That function is available in Superior Drummer 3. It’s not available in EZD3.

One thing I do all the time is use Edit Play Style and switch the Power Hand to the Floor Tom. Instant tom groove.

Of course, then manually edit to fit, but it takes any groove and turns them into tom grooves.

Use the Scissors Tool on the Song Track to cut the region. For example, if you have an 8 bar “Verse” and after the 4th bar you want to change the Power Hand from hats to ride, scissor the Verse region at bar 5. Select that new section. Switch the Power Hand on the Edit Play Style accordingly.

My guess it you’ve just install the plugin software and not the sound library. It is under the Expansion section of the Toontrack Product Manager.

Also, you can contact Toontrack Support directly via the Contact Support button in the FAQ below (or at the bottom of any FAQ page).

Please install from the Toontrack Product Manager and not from the download.

No, neither EZD3 nor S3 can sync to MTC in standalone.
