Any mapping changes like that would need to be done in the edrum module. Or, you should look into Superior Drummer 3 that has MIDI learn capabilities for edrums.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by monitor the bleed? As in solo just the bleed? There isn’t a bleed solo facility but you can open a channel Mixer Property box and turn off the direct close mic (iow, open the snare mixer property box and move the direct snare slider down to turn it off). That will leave just the active bleed (if any).

So you’re saving the EZD2 project file with MIDI grooves on the Song Track? Like I say, unless you render your MIDI with the sound library loaded, your Song Track MIDI will play with whatever sounds library you load even from the save file.

If you want to keep the drum sound you have and then add other parts with a different kit, you need to either render the drums as a wav audio file, then import it into your DAW on an audio track, then you can load other kit sounds into EZD2, or, load 2 instances of EZD2 into your DAW and have 2 different kits loaded.

How are you “saving” the groove? Are you adding it to User MIDI in the Groove browser? Or are you rendering the Song Track as a wav file? If you are just saving as User MIDI, the sounds of the kit won’t be saved and doesn’t matter. MIDI contains no sound info, it’s just MIDI data. It will play whatever sound library you give it.

Ezkeys MIDI packs require an EZkeys sound library to work.

    Those are EZX expansion packs.

They are all separate purchases. Do you own some EZXs that aren’t showing on your library list?

You mean slap the same preset across the master bus and hope it works for 10 different songs? No, it won’t analyze the mix and automatically master it

thanks Scott do I have to do this procedure even if I want to install the software on my pc without connection?

so at the moment i downloaded the ez drummer2 file from the product manager on pc (A) then i put the zip file in a usb key and launched the program on pc (b) without connection to authorize offline. when launch occurs error 1330

your advice is to proceed download, install, authorize and update on the product manager and then transfer a second authorization to the offline pc.?

I have my pro studio machine offline except when running updates (like Product Manager). If you absolutely can’t go online and use the Product Manager on that computer, you’ll have to contact Toontrack Support directly with a fix for the Windows error. Contact them via the Contact Support button in the FAQ below. It may be simply a Windows 10 update needed. Most likely if the computer is not online or updated.

    Problem Solved. Tnks

    Hi!

How did you solve the bad map MIDI?

I have an MPS-750X and my snare is triggering crash cymbals, and Bass Drum is triggering the Snare.

How do you remap this? Is in the software or in the E-Drum module?

    Thanks in advance

Changing the MIDI mapping for EZD2 beyond the preset mappings available would need to be done in the edrum module.

EZD2 is an older code so my guess is it won’t be able to be coded to be resizable. Would be the next gen build (like S3 and EZbass).

Hello, I have also EZDrummer 1.4. Can I install this I have also installed EZDrummer 2. When yes, I can test my EZX Latin Percussion with my EZDrummer 1. I read, that all EZX function with EZDrummer 1.4 also!? Musician greetings Peter Bengelmann

Reply To: I still use EZ Drummer 1, all the expansion pacs now say EZ 2, can I use them? version: 1.4.0
    Operating system: Windows 10

No you can’t go backwards and install EZD 1.4 over EZD2. The Latin Percussion EZX is compatible with EZD 1.4 and EZD2.
