I bought my VST from a website other than toontrack.com and I have not been given a serial number is there a way to resolve this please?
Operating system: macOS Big Sur (11)
You will need to contact the seller as they are responsible for distribution of the serial numbers.

Hello, I’m currently running into an issue where I deauthorize one of my computers to activate it on the new computer that was recently bought and is not letting me authorize on the new computer. It states that I run into the limited amount.
Can anyone help on this matter?
I’ve removed all inactive authorizations. You should be all set to authorize your new machine.

I picked out some grooves / patterns on ezd3 and dragged and dropped into cubase.
I then want to record a guitar part in cubase and click ezd3 follow host ( I like the color coded measures and labeling verse/chorus etc etc )
as soon as I hit record, ezd3 stops and the Follow Host Disabled pops up.
Thank You for the Lighting Fast Response !!! and Reply !!

If EZD3 detects the same MIDI on the Song Track in EZD3 AND the Cubase MIDI Track at the same time it will give this error so it won’t be trying to trigger duplicate parts.
This was added because too many users were doing this and wondering why they were getting flam/comb filtered sounds due to the duplicate MIDI.
Remove the duplicate MIDI from with the Cubase track or the EZD3 Song Track to remove the error.

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanDo you have MIDI on the Cubase track? Is it the same as what is on the EZD3 Song Track?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Nashville EZX and the Metal Machine EZX.

You don’t need EZD2 installed to use the EZD3 upgrade.
If you want the EZD2 sound library and MIDI without EZD2 installed you can install the EZdrummer 2 Core Library EZX that should be in your Toontrack account. This contains the EZD2 sounds library and MIDI.
If you have DAW projects that contain EZD2 and want them to load properly in the future, you may want to keep EZD2 installed because EZD3 won’t take its place in those projects. EZD3 is its own plugin.

hi I have downloaded EZDrummer 3. But I can’t find how you save the drum track as a WAV file.
I need to be able to do this as I am using a Tascam Dp-32 for home recording so can’t link as a DAW.
I would like to be able to do this or I suppose I will just have to stick to EZD 2.
To be honest, having played with EZD 3 a little bit, I think I probably prefer EZD 2 anyway.
But now I have it I’d like to be able to use it.
Thanks
Rory
See the “Export Song as Audio file(s)…” in the Track Menu section in of the EZD3 manual.

To my knowledge, Pro Tools doesn’t support drag and drop to a plugin.

18gb to download. 18gb more to install that 18gb download. You could then “clean up” (delete) that 18gb download after installation.

Do you have projects that use EZD2 that you want to open? If so, I wouldn’t uninstall it.
I’m in the same boat as the OP, but I actually DON’T have any EZD2 projects. (I only got EZD2 just before the EZD3 launch w/the included upgrade.) Is there any reason I need to keep EZD2 on my machine? Will I still have access to the EZD2 library without it?
Thanks.

Reply To: should we keep ez drummer 2 after upgrade to 3 version: 3.0.0
Operating system: macOS Monterey (12)
You don’t need to have the EZD2 program installed. You can simply install the EZdrummer 2 Core Library EZX that is in your Toontrack Product Manager to have access to the EZD2 sound library and MIDI without the EZD2 plugin.

Thanked by: Jonathan BjellandNo. That not is the intent behind the multiple Song Tracks.
The intent is for trying multiple arrangements of a song not for multitrack operation as that is more of a DAW function.
