They are all separate programs so you would need to have them all installed to use them.

Well, the only thing I can add is echoing what Hendrik said above. That Toontrack will make note of the feature request.

    On a personal note, I’ll add this. And keep in mind that this is from a dumb guitar player for the last 35 years and not from a pure music theory point of view (and I’m sure this isn’t groundbreaking for you);

I break all the modes down into “major” or “minor” sounding based on how they feel. Major (Ionian, Lydian, and Mixolydian) and Minor (Aeolian, Dorian, Phrygian, and Locrian).

For example: d minor, a minor, C Major, G Major. Dorian of course. Sounds minor- like to me. I can throw these chords into EZkeys2 easily enough (like in the video above).

On a side note, I don’t get astonished by people anymore. I’ve worked for Toontrack for 15 years and it just doesn’t astonish me what one user thinks is a must have feature where another will think it’s extraneous or complicated. I’m sure Toontrack walks that line with every product release.

I think it’s more of a function of taking the chords that fit the mode you want and leaving it just showing Ionian (or Aolian).

On the left side of the Chord Wheel is a small keys icon. Click on that and add any notes to the chord you want.

I started with the D7 chord and then added the E and removed the 3rd (from the ‘keys icon’ window) and done.

    Or…

Click on the Chord Wheel pencil icon in the center and type “D7sus2”.

Check the EZbass manual section below:

    https://www.toontrack.com/manual/ezbass/5/5-4-the-timeline

Scroll to the THE MIDI TRACK section of the manual section above and check the Show In Browser function from the Find menu one you have a MIDI block selected.

Hello, I purchased EZ keys along with the EZ keys 2 upgrade but it’s not listed in my PM.

What would be needed in order for me to receive the product EZ keys 2 along with the Serial number for EZkeys 2 in my PM.

    Thank you in advance.

*mod edit. Please don’t post serial numbers

The latest order I see for you is for an EZkeys1 expansion pack. I don’t see the EZkeys 2 upgrade purchased.

Ohh i thought I need to buy ez1 to have ez2 at release. Thanks for clarification.

You did “buy EZkeys 1” when you purchased the Cinematic Pads library which is an EZkeys 1 library.

Of course, it will also work in EZkeys2 upon release on May 16.

What should I do in that situation to have ezk2?

Wait until May 16, 2023 when it’s released and download, install, and authorize it.

Yes it’s the EZkeys 2 Upgrade because you bought the Cinematic Pads Regular EZkeys sound library.

An EZkeys Regular Sound Library=EZkeys 2 Upgrade in your purchase.

There is no EZD1 to EZD2 upgrade available since both of those products are discontinued.

You can purchase an upgrade to EZdrummer 3.

    Please explain multi-client.

I am running a Roland studio capture 16-10 for recording in Cubase. Cubase loves this interface, I keep the control panel open at all times as I can see where the faders are who is active from an input point of view also my panning etc.
I am running my focusrite 18i20 as the audio interface for SD3 analog back to a set of channels on the 1610 and digital to my motu 828 for routing in my studio.(digital in, analog out to the speakers) Audio-Routing
I originally bought the Moto to replace the Roland but it does not like any DAW connected to it nothing but static literally snap crackle and pop over the speakers at random intervals. Worst $900 I ever spent.

A multi client audio driver is one that allows for multiple programs to share the same audio device. IOW, YouTube and Cubase.

But after re-reading your original post, it seems like this works as expected. But you’re saying the the Cubase transport (play /pause) is taken over when S3 is in focus. It’s that what you’re saying? And you are running S3 as a Plugin in cubase and not as standalone? Do you have shortcuts turned on or off in the S3 General settings menu?

Some audio drivers are multi client. Some are not. My RME drivers are. Not sure what audio interface you are running.

    Hello all,

I’m looking for help with a license question. I currently own EZ Drummer 3 and am looking to upgrade to Superior Drummer 3. If I purchase the upgrade and grab SD3, is that a separate license from EZ Drummer? I have a home pc, a laptop for travel and another separate pc that stays in my studio space. I’m wondering if I could install Superior on 2 of those and then EZ on the third and have them all work? I would be using Superior at home and in the studio and then EZ on my laptop for gigs with my e-kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Thanks!

Each are their own product so both can be authorized on 2 systems each.
