You need to add the instrument (tambourine, shaker, one shot, etc) to your kit first. If not, there is no instrument available to play the MIDI notes.

Note that EZmix 2 is VST2 only, not VST3, VST2 plug-ins will only run in Cubase 13 in Rosetta mode on Apple Silicon Mac computers.

The easiest way would probably be to download and install the software itself from the Product Manager application. You can transfer Sound Libraries, expansions, and MIDI packs to an external hard drive if you have many products, so you don’t have to download/install them all again.
Your Core sound libraries and expansions are located here by default in the EZdrummer, EZbass, and EZkeys folders:
Mac: HD>Library>Application Support
Win: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Toontrack\ or C:\Program Files\Common Files\Toontrack

Thanks for the feedback but no – that’s not how it appears for me … maybe a Windows glich? https://youtu.be/vPQJj1csmfI?si=KTCEr3wXHNTn5Qwj
PS. I checked the standalone version and it looks the same. It looks like the Windows version of this plugin has not been updated to interface with EZK2.
Are there people on here from TT and will pick this up or should I report it as an issue with TT support?
Thanks.
Patrick.

Hmmmm …. the option is ‘import chords fro EZKeys project” which is an .ezkp file. EZK has produced a .ezkp2 file which EZB can’t see as it is filtering files for .ezkp??
have you updated your EZbass to the latest version?

Thanked by: Patrick_by_the_seaThank you for getting back to me. I have replied to support but I thought I’d inform you as well, as I don’t know who is going to see it first, but the Punchy Phaser preset is also present in the demo playlist for the Classic Rock EZX. I reckon it would be a good idea to sort that out as soon as possible as well.
Cheers
Thank you! We will forward this to our web team.

Our Drum MIDI can be used by other programs besides Toontrack products.
We recommend that you use Toontrack products for the best compatibility but if you want to use the MIDI in other programs, you can directly copy the MIDI from the Contents folder.
The MIDI should be in the Midi folder. Some of the sub-folders only contain .header files, and that is intended, but the .mid files should be in some of those folders too.

Is EZ Bass2 going to released soon? Will the app operate identical to EZ Keys2 with its excellent workflow, options and low learning curve based on how EZ Keys2 works and operates today?
I may purchase EZ Bass today if you offer me a free upgrade when EZ Bass2 is released in the near future.
Toontrack Support does not have the resources to confirm if and/or when certain products will ever be available, we will forward your message as a request to our development team.

You can read more about exporting MIDI from the Organ to your Host in the Session Organ manual here: https://www.toontrack.com/manual/session-organ-ekx/7/#7-1-export-midi
