In the lower left hand corner on the home “Drums” page, there is a tab named “Track”. Click on that tab and the option “Import MIDI file” will appear. Select that and guide it to where your MIDI track is located on your drive and it should import it from there.
Really nicely done. How were the guitars recorded? Any details you could give on guitar, amps, speakers, mics used? they sound fantastic
I’m confused. Didn’t he say NOT to use the edrums setting?
Edit: Ah I think I get it now after reading the advice a second time. Will try that for myself as my TD8 has never worked well with my VH11 hi hat.
Evil Drums is a very versatile sample set. It sounds great in anything from classic rock to pop to country to metal and many more genres that I can’t think of…..
Well said. I can’t believe it’s not flying off the shelves either. It’s fantastic!
If you haven’t done so already, check out the Andy Sneap presets page and see if those sounds appeal to you. If so, you’re golden.
Nice work! What snare was that in MF? Did you tune it down? Most of them are pretty high pitched but I like where the one you used is sitting tone wise.
Big fan of the Platinum Samples packs. Would also love to see them expand more of their line to SDX.
To add to what has been said, you might also look into the Grooves that come with Superior as a starting point. They are editable, played by one of the top pop/rock drummers out there and cover a lot of ground. Most of what I’ve needed has been found in the grooves preview page and then edited a hit here or there to taste.
