Yes I’m on Win 11.
On checking this again, when I select the EZ Key instrument channel I can play the EZ Keys instrument ok. But when I hit the ‘Edit Instrument’ nothing appears. So I can’t see the EX Keys edit window. Its as if its either not opening up or its hiding off the screen somewhere. But the instrument is def playing. It opens up fine in standalone mode.
Yep my EZ Keys is now non functional in Cubase 12. Checked the plug in path etc but as its still VST 2 it ain’t gonna work anymore.
I’m using a PC with windows 10. I use the 1 and 2 to move between left and right locators and the enter button to playback. I will confirm what each does in SD3 when I get back to the studio later. Will try disabling keyboard for SD3 also.
Yes its a possible solution thanks – is there a drum map that is comprehensive enough to use? (but I do prefer to use the SD3 grid)
Henrik, yes I wonder if Logic has a different behaviour than Cubase? When I have SD3 open and work in the the grid editor (or any page) then when I hit the keyboard for play or rewind nothing happens (because SD3 is ‘in focus’) – so I have to click back on Cubase to make sure its ‘in focus’ to make the keyboard shortcuts work. If I go back to the Grid editor in SD3 , and hit enter on the keyboard (for play) for example, the grid editor moves right to the bottom of all the rows. Its easy to forget which program in ‘in focus’. My wishlist is to allow editing in SD3 and full control of transport in Cubase at the same time ! Its a small frustration – but I do love all the toontrack products !
Same issue here – snap on song track not lining up, re size and sissors tool is also off. Swing function not applying to future hit instrument in grid editor.
