    But for those of us who play Norwegian, Swedish dance music and country, this program is a waste of money.

    I find basic beats that can be used. But the lack of intro and ending choices and not to forget the file in that rarely or mostly never fits the style of music makes this program completely useless for me. No, this program is too funky-rock-based to be used for traditional dance music here in Sweden. I am very disappointed.

    The only function this program has here for me is as an audio plugin for midifiles in DAW.

    Type “Drag midi Here” here under Grooves only gives options within the preferences that drummer and its content gives. This means that; if you are only looking for traditional Swedish, Norwegian dance music and classic country then it will largely be wrong. Wrong intro, wrong bass drum playing in “Verse”, wrong file in and wrong ending. Almost nothing has preferences to the original midi file that I dropped in ” “Drag midi Here””! I can understand this from the preferences that I register in Grooves and the midi storage.

    My conclusion is as follows;
    If preferences for traditional Swedish, Norwegian dance music and classic country had also been entered in drums 3 then the options and examples would have been significantly better for my musical taste. This is unfortunately a big problem for me who is a retired musician over 67 years old who today exclusively plays for the same audience and age group as me.

    So what I have to do to make this program work for my style of music I am still a little unsure about. Clearly this program is not as simple as I had initially thought! Almost all file in, intro and ending must be entered manually, as almost none of the program’s preferences in this area can be used. I suspect that I will probably encounter the same problem with ezbass and ezkeys! when it comes to music style preferences when importing various midi files.

    “There’s a number of genre specific MIDI add-ons in addition to the core MIDI files included with EZD. Could you give some examples: bands or songs that could be searched so that I/we have some idea of what you are looking for?”

    I did.

    In Norwegian and Swedish dance music, the drum part of the backing track must be simple with simple transitions, file in, intro and ending, etc.

    I can understand charging a couple of dollars to manage this license transfer, but 15 dollars! is pure robbery from their customers and supporters.

    No, I will “not” buy anything else from toontrack.
