Hi nebstor,
it depends on which audio hardware/interface you are using.
As Barney_1966 points out, it is generally easier on the Mac platform since its Core Audio is built in another way than the equivalent on Windows.
However, if you have an audio interface that has got ASIO drivers, I believe you can get the results you are after. As an example, my son (who’s on Windows 11) wanted to play guitar while viewing YouTube videos or listening to Spotify. As he got himself a UAD Volt interface, he managed to do that by letting the system access the MME (I think) driver and then his DAW (FL Studio) the ASIO driver for the Volt interface. Some ASIO audio interfaces have internal mixer and/or control panels that can make things like this easier as well.

Hi Granitza,
while the drums in EZX libraries are not completely “raw” -they are recorded and produced with a basic processing typical for the producer of the EZX- the ‘Original Mix’ Presets do not have any internal Mixer effects applied.

I’d like to attach the PT track preset I use to try and help the OP but the forum s/w won’t allow the .ptxp file extension. How do I remedy that?
Reply To: Multi out issue with OH version: 3.3.6
Operating system: macOS High Sierra (10.13)
Hi, you have to ZIP archive it first, to be able to attach it.

To clarify you want me to send you a copy of my session and not include audio files correct? Would you also like me to send screenshots of my Kit I made and or share my preset? I use the multi out FT, the issue only happens when the Overhead mics are being monitored in multi out. The printing and playb back after committed is perfect.
I just want to give you all the info so you can see my routing in protools and also in SD3, I have never had this issue since I owned the plug in and the routing has not changed.
Thank you for helping me!
Yes, just the .ptx file zipped. In the Session, the SD3 Instrument track with all routing should be saved but if you wish to provide additional info like screenshots, please go ahead.

Hi Billy 86,
follow Jord’s advice in the post above yours; Keep Output Routing on Preset Change and/or Select Parts when you load from other Presets in the same Library.
If you don’t load from presets, i.e. just switch out individual kit pieces in a custom output routing situation, the routing does not change.

Thanked by: Billy 86Hi happy_5,
please zip your .ptx (just the session file, no audio) and attach to a post here, so we may have a look at it.

Thanked by: happy_5Hi,
if the ‘EZdrummer 3.aaxplugin’ is not present in the {Macintosh HD}/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins folder, you need to run the latest EZdrummer 3 software installer again. Be sure to click the ‘Customise’ button and check the AAX plug-in.
When the plug-in file is present in the above folder, you should find EZdrummer 3 as a multichannel plug-in in the ‘Instrument’ category when inserted on a Stereo Instrument Track.

Hi,
I think you guys are talking about different things; Key Signature changes are not relevant to Superior Drummer but Time Signature changes are.
The Song Track in SD3 can Import both Tempo changes and Time Signature changes from a MIDI file. The Tracker cannot Import Time Signature changes.
Does it work to find the hits in Tracker first (with Tempo Imported), then Transfer the MIDI to the Song Track, followed by Importing the Time Signature changes from the MIDI file?
I don’t know why the Song Track can Import Time Sig changes but the Tracker can’t, perhaps one for the Wishlist in the Requests & Feedback section?

OK,
so what does the Product Manager application tell you? Does it list any products as not Authorised?

Hi,
re-installing on the same computer does not require re-activating, no worries.
Did you run the installer for the EZdrummer 3 Core library as well as the EZdrummer 3 Software? They are two different installers in the Product Manager.

Hi,
make sure you are inserting EZdrummer 3 on a Stereo Instrument Track and look for it under ‘Instruments’ category or manufacturer ‘Toontrack’.
You do not need to run Pro Tools 2023.9 in Rosetta mode, since the EZdrummer 3 plug-in is Native as well.

Are my files safe from the “clear space” button?
Yes 👍

Drag and drop from the SD3 Song Track to the Logic track is the easiest way.

Hi,
in the ‘Help’ menu, there’s a ‘Show MIDI Mapping Layout’ option.
If you view or print this to PDF without loading a MIDI Preset, it will show you the Default layout for that library.
If you load a MIDI Preset, it will show you and let you print the modified layout of the Preset. See my attached examples.Hansa-Marble-Room-Layout

Hi,
the EZdrummer 3 entry in that list is smaller because it is the software and not the library. The EZD3 library is much bigger than that (≈15GB).
If you have the EZdrummer 2 Core Library as an entry in the Product Manager under ‘EZdrummer Line’, you can uninstall EZdrummer 2 and then reinstall the EZdrummer 2 Core Library to get the sounds and MIDI from it installed.

John
