Hi,
please check your MIDI Track for AfterTouch data, AfterTouch chokes the cymbals. Unless you are triggering the Mute Hit articulation, which is choked.
You can see which articulation you are triggering via your MIDI controller by Showing the MIDI Mapping Keys Side Panel, right next to the Property Boxes on the DRUMS page.

Hi,
both the Latin Percussion EZX and the Latin Cuban Percussion EZX works with EZdrummer 3. In practice, you load a separate EZdrummer 3 instance in your host, to load the Percussion EZX for adding the sounds and grooves. It’s not all happening in the same EZdrummer 3 instance, drums and percussion.

Hi,
switching Library and Preset is done Bank MSB and Program Change. I posted a short video in a reply earlier on the Forum:
I have made a small screen recording where I draw in Bank MSB and Program Change – in this case I use Logic Pro but the principle is the same regardless of host – and when I hit play, you will see EZkeys change Library and Preset.
I have drawn in Bank MSB value ‘8’, which selects the 9th Library in my Library list (the first would have value ‘0’) and that is ‘HYBRID HARP’ and then I have drawn in value ’34’ for Program Change, which is the ‘Percussive Notes’ Preset.
It works the same with EZkeys 2 in Logic Pro, provided you have Enabled ‘Allow Program Change’ in the MIDI In Settings in EZkeys 2.

OK, I have not been able to replicate what you describe. Is it possible for you to screen record this behaviour?

Hi,
if you have Tempo Edits on your EZd3 Song Track and drag-and-drop the MIDI from the Song Track to the Reaper Instrument Track, you should get a question if you wish to Import the Tempo. Click Yes.
If you do not get the question, please check Settings > Media > Import to see if you have disabled this.

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanHi,
they should only merge if you are recording/entering events that overlap the groove part boundary. In which scenario does this happen for you?

Thanked by: lukusw79Hi,
I see what you mean but the plug-ins just react to what the host is sending to them. This would require an FL Studio setting to only send a timeline while in Song mode and AFAIK this is not possible. For the plug-ins it’s either Follow Host on or off, they can’t distinguish which timeline is being received.

Hi,
if you start the Product Manager application, does it tell you to Authorise? If so, does it work to?
The Additional Libraries path looks like it should work.

Hi,
that is not the correct folder. The Toontrack MIDI (and EZX:s) reside in a specific place on a system, much like certain presets in SD3 must. SDX libraries, on the other hand can be installed and pointed to any location, even a network drive.
BTW, you seem to have both the installed SD3 Core Library and installer packages for both the EZd3 Core Library and SD3 SDX Part 2, along with updaters in the same main folder. I wouldn’t recommend having Downloads and Installed libraries within the same folder. I hope you are aware of the difference between the Downloads and installed content?
Could you please post a screen shot of the SD3 Settings > Libraries/Paths > ‘Additional Libraries’ location?
And preferably the content in the Finder of that specific location?

John

Hi GeorgH,
you need to add a Tambourine Pad Instrument for those grooves to play back.
On the DRUMS page, click the ‘Add Instrument’ button in the upper left corner, then go Future Hit Instrument > Tambourine.
Once added, those grooves will play back when you audition them in the GROOVES browser. You can change the Tambourine sounds by right-clicking the pad.

Hi Johan,
this is not the proper place for Support matters. You should start a thread in respective product line’s forum section.
That said, as stated in the system requirements on the Upright EBX’s product page, it needs a working EZbass 1.1.0 (or above) installation. I do not see that you own EZbass and the Upright EBX is an EZbass extension library.
Regarding the missing grooves in EZdrummer 3, please post in the EZdrummer Help section and we will help you there.

John
