For windows users this file is located in
C:/ProgramData/Toontrack/EZdrummer/Database/02_@EZDRUMMER_2_MODERN#VINTAGE/midiDBFor MAC users it is located in
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/EZDrummer/Database/02_@EZDRUMMER_2_MODERN#VINTAGE/midiDBIf you check properties of this file it should have a size of 485,376 bytes.
If this is not the case you could try renaming the subfolder “Database” to something else, for example “Database2” and then run the updater again.

Jack 007Thanks, i did not work like that, but i managed to find a work around. Had no time (got a job running) to analyze what i did, but some resetting, and reinstalling the SD3 data base did the job with the SDX update. J

Only MusicCity is still sealed, 3 DVDs, NY3 is a download license (but i can put them on a USB stick if you have a slow internet) … i have to convert latter to you; is there a way to PM you? Couldn’t find it here on the site ..

Got a NY1 for sale (and 2 and 3 BTW). Is that called ‘Music City’? 3 dvd set marked SDX for Superior 2. PM me if interested, but i am confused still what’s what … J
Jack 007It’s certainly become antiquated as a sound generator ….
not really if you have the latest version, and some midi (piano) super tracks are quite on par with EZkeys, be it that there are not as many styles as with Toontrack’s expansion packs ……. and you’ll need a decent VST plugin like Halion Sonic SE (free).
Jack 007There are two software ‘assistants’ that come to mind; PGmusic’s band in a box, and maybe plugin boutique’s Scaler … ??

Well … it still drives me crazy; i am not from N.Y.
So maybe rename the company LOONTRACK? BTW nice full moon recently .. MOONTRACK, or MOONSTRUCK just as i am now.
But, let’s face the music: SD3 is actually a great weapon, one i never regretted buying.
Jack 007Me thinks Avatar is called NY 1 these days, but i am confused too as i moved via upgrading from EZD to SD2 to SD3.
There is N.Y. Alliare, there is N.Y. Hit Factory and N.Y. vol3 on my installed & confusion list too, but with the SDX boxes i bought ‘my products i find ‘SD 2. 0 Core Avatar’, NY vol2 and NY vol2.
What is NY vol1 now, and do i have an old version not suited for SD3 with my Avatar from SD2? Do i need some upgrade?
And then i have a Music City boxed too, an old version bought on ebay recently: whats that then?
