Have you tried using “Find/Show In Browser” when right clicking a MIDI song block on the track? Your text search idea is noted!

1) The screen size is a tricky issue to solve, but we know about it.
2) Right click on the MIDI file on the track, in the menu go to “Find” and select “Show in Browser” or “Search with Tap2Find”. Both of those should point you to the file.
3) See above answer
4) No. EZdrummer 2 was released long after Superior 2, that’s why Superior 2 doesn’t have all the features from EZdrummer 2.
5) I’ll forward this to the web developers!
I hope this answer your questions 🙂 Thanks for the feedback

Just so I get the problem correct – the notation of the chords changed incorrectly, but the MIDI (the audible parts) was still correct, and not changed?
I have made a note of it so we can have a look at it as soon as we get the time!

What I did (in Logic, on a Mac) was to enable MIDI out. Then I recorded some MIDI into Logic while clicking on some drums – which were recorded. Does that work for you in Reaper?
Check that Reaper is listening to all MIDI channels so that it doesn’t miss something sent out by EZdrummer 2.

In EZdrummer 2 you can go to Settings/MIDI Events and enable “MIDI out”. Clicking a drum will send that MIDI note to your DAW.

This is a matter of taste, what genre you are writing drums for, what sounds you use for the kick etc.
One example can be if you produce EDM (electronic dance music). Then the kicks are often quite long, and have a distinct tone in them (usually a 808 kick). Then it’s common to tune the kick, since it will otherwise create a disharmony. You can use the tune knob in EZdrummer 2 (click the small arrow on the kick) – or use a tuning software in your DAW.
My personal preference is, if the kick has got a ringy tone, I tend to tune it to the song key.

I know, it was the heat of the moment. My emotions got the best of me.
How would I check for something like that? Moved files?
I’m not very keen on “Install trouble shooting” Â

Have you checked that you are using the latest version of EZkeys? (In the top right corner Menu/”Check for Updates…”)?
