Thanks for the feedback! The naming of instruments are already on our todo-list. And the 1/32 etc instead of ms is also there 🙂
The loading of preset parts from other libraries are, however, much more complicated to achieve. I will take a note of it anyway!

On each of the Superior Drummer 3 “Drums and Mixer” presets, there is a arrow on the right side of it you can press (or right click anywhere on the preset) to show you a menu, where you can select “Load Parts…”. There you can decide what to load. Enable everything except the drum kit, and the kit will be kept.

We have gotten some requests before regarding changing presets via MIDI, and we have placed it on our todo-list!

The order of the lists are different for a reason – the MIDI Mapping Keys (in the Drums tab) are made to be viewed as a piano roll, as they are represented in most DAW:s (0 at the bottom). On the other hand, the list in the MIDI In settings is designed as a scrollable list – where it felt strange to have a list to start with the highest number (127). However – I understand your confusion since they basically represents the same thing. We are looking over the entire MIDI In settings page, and we’ll continue to make it better!

The marking of octaves is a good idea – I will take a note of it.
Unfortunately your attachments didn’t get posted – I think you forgot to press “Upload” when you added them. We will look at this since it’s not a good implementation from our side that you have to press “upload”.

Thanks for the feedback, it helps us making our software better for you guys! 🙂

They are using the same software. The different libraries will load different sounds (as you said), and also load different effects – adjusted for the selected library/preset.

You need to have the tempo changes on the track of Superior Drummer 3, if you want to use the bounce feature of SD3.

If you are using a DAW: export the tempo as a MIDI file from your DAW and import it to SD3 using the Track menu/Import Tempo from MIDI File…

For those of you who are using EZdrummer 2 or Superior Drummer 3, you can enable “Show Web Shop MIDI” to go through all our MIDI packs, using Tap2Find or the filters…

It’s not possible. We have gotten this request before and I agree that it would be useful. We have taken a note of this request!

Yes you can place chord changes on other places than bars. You use the Chord Tool (left of the song track) to add or remove chords from the song track. The more you zoom in on the track, the finer will the resolution be – which decides where you can place the chords.

One way to accomplish this is to:
    – press the “add new song block button”, top left of the song track. Add one block for each chord you’d like
    – place the blocks so the chord changes are where you want them
    – select all blocks, right click and select “Merge Selected Blocks” – so they are more manageable. 8 bars is a pretty good size for each block in many cases.
    – Select “Use Browser MIDI” and preview different play styles with your added chords.
    – finish by clicking “Replace” when you have found a MIDI groove that works
