[Request] Keep Drum Kit on Preset Change

Hi Toontrack

It would be great to create my own default drum kit (based on my v-drums pad setup) and changing mixer presets without changing the drum kit; similar to “Keep Output Routing on Preset Change” option in Presets menu.

It would be also nice to be able to change these presets via the module…As I understand from another topic, it’s not possible to create a macro that can do that currently, please correct me if i’m wrong.

I just purchased SD 3…sounds are quiet good but I’m a bit disappointed with presets…I think they are mainly created with a production-use in mind…Wouldn’t it be interesting to create an E-Drummer Preset Pack, specifically crafted for e-drummers ? With a little bit less reverb etc…

On each of the Superior Drummer 3 “Drums and Mixer” presets, there is a arrow on the right side of it you can press (or right click anywhere on the preset) to show you a menu, where you can select “Load Parts…”. There you can decide what to load. Enable everything except the drum kit, and the kit will be kept.

We have gotten some requests before regarding changing presets via MIDI, and we have placed it on our todo-list!

Thanks for the answer; I know about this “load parts” option but it’s not really handy, so I still think my suggestion would be welcomed by e-drummers

Yes that would be awesome to drop a preset on you eKit without changing to another kit option!

That being said, Superior Drummer 3 and EZbass are a producers dream come true! Thank you!!!!
