Well, given EZKeys (and EZMix) are both VST2 and Cubase gave every developer 2 years notice last January, then this product will be dead sometime in 2024, unless they release EZKeys 2 or release a VST3 version of it.

Shame since it is a useful product, which I use a lot.

Don’t make me have to learn the piano Toontrack…….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I installed and saw it was Vst 2, it made me a little sad.  Seriously, VST3 has been around for over 10 years.

Surely, if it was VST3, we would not need the additional plugin to route audio.
I would be able to use multiple midi inputs, so keyswitches on one keyboard, notes on the other.
Lighter CPU load, (well none) when the bass isn’t playing.

I was having the same issue with Ezbass in Cubase 10.5

I deleted EZbass from the song, closed the song, closed cubase and then re-opened Cubase and the song.  Added EZBass again and so far not had any issues.

I’ll have a look, but it is an error coming up in the SD3 window not a Cubase error.

I had a similar thing last night. My metal heads was missing from my account. In the end, I just retyped in the serial and it worked.

In my sitting at my computer waiting I have
1) broken a guitar string.
2) realised I haven’t got a spare
3) driven to the guitar shop and bought some new strings.
4) Recorded bass to a new song.
5) Drank far too much coffee
6) Sorted out some things for my impending holiday
7) Purchased the last two EZ drummer sound libraries I didn’t own. Ooops.

Can you clarify then Scott, when you say Toontrack midi only. Does that include the midi from the SD2 libraries (since I also use SD2)

Shame about that, given I use the groovemonkee grooves quite a bit, plus any grooves, I’ve drummed in myself and moved to the midi directory. Still a useful function.
