With some EZX : you can try all what you want  like the OH ! settings etc.

you won’t have the great brightness of EZD2 because a dark sound is not a useful sound and with EQ it’s a changed sound

i prefer the great sounds without any plugin / EQ

For that GBand is superior in a mix : you can always listen to all the sounds especially the midi notes of the bass drum

EZD3 except the “bus preset” is not so good : lack of brightness vs EZD2

I regret a lack of brightness-raw sounds

but it can do the job with another plugin or more OH to add some brightness

The demos sound a little bit different for the drum kits so, I am little bit disappointed with that

you have not understood at all my message so it does not add any good answer to me

it was not talking about the raw sounds i know, i was talking about the sounds for some musics like hard rock, metal SD3 vs SDX

when i listen to the demos, all sounded better with some SDX than with superior drummer itself so i doubt SD3 will be enough
