It’s not worth investigating until you test only Toontrack midi.
If you were using GGD midi for example, I would agree that there’s a problem.
Do a test song from scratch with only Toontrack, then work from there.

The earlier Ugritone packs are performed poorly. I highly regretted buying them. Their claim to a human feel was more like human making mistakes. I liked this underdog company so I’d like to say I’m not speaking for their entire product line… but many of their earlier packs.
Why don’t you see if this issue persists with Toontrack Midi.

EZdrummer 3 core program plus EZdrummer 3 Library.
Also install the EZdrummer 2 Core Library if you want it’s sounds and midi.
Installing EZK2 and it’s library is fine. You’ll want to install EZK1 if you want it’s midi though. I don’t think the EZK1 installer is for the library, someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

Your midi pack will only work with EZDrummer. So get EZdrummer in a DAW and you can use it.

Thanked by: Roddey PhippsPro Tools Intro only accepts AAX. EZD2 is a VST2. Only EZD3 will work with Pro Tools Intro it seems.
Use Reaper or upgrade EZD3. Reaper has a never ending demo mode, so try as long as you want before you buy for $60. EZD3 upgrade is around $100, I’ve seen the upgrade go on sale 2 separate times this year already if you’re patient.
If money is a concern, the last thing you want to do is start the Pro Tools path. It’s not like it used to be.

Thanked by: Eric Schultze and Scott EshlemanYes. You link to your individual SDXs (you can use as many hard drives as you wish) by going to Settings > Library/Paths.
There you can see where your libraries are so you can drag (Cut/Copy) to a new hard drive. And then use the same settings area to relink them.

Thanked by: Mick AvoidantSomeone might happen to be able to help you here. I’m not sure how long I’d wait though.
I would be asking questions like this at https://www.vdrums.com/ or going to this guys Facebook group… https://www.facebook.com/groups/1080606609152636
There’s plenty of Edrum focused groups out there. There’s only so much traffic here for specific setups.

Maybe you are not using a “Virtual Instrument Track” in Reaper.
Instead of adding a new generic track, right-click in the track area and add a Virtual Instrument Track instead. Put EZ on that track.

It’s probably not prominent, but it exists. I recommend the Webshop Midi Button which you’ll find on the Grooves Tab to see which products have the most before purchasing.
