Different Toontrack Products have different midi mapping.
A different example would be is if a product had 10 cymbals. The midi that comes with this product would incorporate all 10 cymbals. But if you play the midi from this product in a different EZX/SDX that only has 4 cymbals, you will start triggering things besides cymbals.
There’s only 0-127 midi articulations. When these products get big, there’s no way to assign all articulations consistently across products. You only get consistency when it comes to the core instruments of the kit like kick, snare (not brushes), hats, 4-5 toms, 4 cymbals and a ride as a rough example.
It’s working as intended. You need to fix this yourself to combine brush info from one product to the other. If you’re getting into brushes and Toontrack, more general info here. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong.

Hopefully someone will correct me if I’m wrong.
Swirls cannot be performed correctly from a Midi Controller. So using the Trigger in/out would just be a lot of extra work to simply select the articulation you want.
All trigger in/out does is allow a CC value to select an articulation of the instrument you’re playing on. So you simply placing the diamonds on which articulation you want instead of using Trigger in/out will be a streamlined workflow.
I did some of my own testing and wrote this. My conclusion is below. If any onlookers have any constructive feedback about it I’d love to hear it.
“When it comes to using brush sounds on ekits or midi controllers there are limitations. Regular brush articulations that are simply striking the instrument work like any other standard drum sound. But swirls or sustaining brush articulations are not intended to be used with edrums. These are more for building songs with the corresponding Toontrack midi or programming beats using the Grid Editor or your DAW’s piano roll. It is possible to simply midi-learn a swirl articulation to a drum pad on your ekit, but these articulations have a duration and speed that cannot be controlled in real time. Simply put, swirl articulations do not yet integrated into live performance. I read some posts in the past of users having complex workarounds to get this to work to some degree, but it is not the intended use of the software (yet), and beyond anything I want to pursue myself. In the past when working with an edrummer that demands a brush swirl articulation, i would use a capable edrum module and it’s sounds for the snare.”

Everything is at least in the same spot for release notes.

Thanked by: Bear-Faced Cow and ergotoneThere’s a “Slide In” and a “Slide Out”. You can’t add both. But when you use “Slide In”, you’ll see a third articulation appear at the bottom of the menu, “ADD Slide Out”. Use that new articulation that is not seen by default.
Cool question, I didn’t know myself.

In Guitar Pro. Select All Notes (for your bass) > Tools > Transpose > Semitones > make it 12 semitones. After you import the midi into EZBass, you could go back to Guitar Pro and hit Undo to bring the original pitch back.

Uninstall/Reinstall is fine. You won’t loose anything. Brad’s screencap is important though.

Thanked by: JDEZDrummer 2 and 3 are 2 different plugins. One does not replace the other. If you want your old projects with EZD2 to work, do not uninstall EZD2 until you’ve converted them.
If you indeed installed EZD3 correctly, it is in Studio One, do try harder to locate it.
If you want to replace an EZD2 project with EZD3. Open EZD2, under the main menu, Save Project (somewhere notable on your PC).
Now open an instance of EZD3 on a new track. EZD3 File Menu > Import EZD2 Project (the one you just saved). Now you’ve converted your EZD2 project to EZDrummer 3.

It is not included.
It is from EZDrummer 1. If you own EZdrummer 1, go to Product Manager, find EZD1 and see attached image…

Just trying to think of another way to say it…
In general Velocity controls the tone of the the drum(s) and the volume of the drum(s). Whether you’re using multi out or not, the tones and volumes change when adjusting anything related to Velocity.

You exported audio files from EZDrummer and imported into Reaper. They align with the grid. EZdrummer is not the problem. You should state you PC specs, maybe your system just can’t handle your session as Mick is suggesting.

Zoom all of the way in to the drum audio file waveforms. Are the transients of the beat actually off or on the grid? You need to confirm what is actually out of sync here.
I assume your drums are .wav or aiff files and not a compressed audio files.
“Trying to create drums with Bandmate, and it sounds great and in time in standalone EZDrummer application. ”
Why aren’t you using EZdrummer inside of Reaper as a plugin?
I don’t have an answer, but my questions may help you resolve it yourself.

Great to hear! If you’re doing it constantly, the 1 and 2 keys will switch between the tools quickly.
