VST chords drag&drop does not work as expected.

Cubase chord-track does not work with exbass. It is faling in both direction. With ezbass you can create a chord progression. It is a VST3 instrument so it is supposed to handle VST3 chords.
This can be done in realtime as playback info or using clipboards.  When selection only the chords in the ezbass and do a drag to a chord track the clipboard is only containing a midi part not
chords.  The opposite is also failing. A drag of chord information from the host to ezbass is ignored.  When instead dropping the chord from host to desktop you get a xml file that indicate that apple OSX understand the format of chords. chord

Unfortunate chord is not tested with Steinberg compability tests but it part of the VST3 SDK.  https://steinbergmedia.github.io/vst3_doc/vstinterfaces/structSteinberg_1_1Vst_1_1Chord.html
I do not use Logic but it seems to have Chord tracks in similar way as Steinberg in cubase/nuendo since the drag/drop/cut/paste monitoring manage to parse the data in buffers.

The VST seems to be one way only, from host to plugin but clippboard is bidirectional and would be very useful for toontrack, both for plugin-to-plugin and to plugin-to-host and host-to-plugin.
