This brings up a great point. I’d love to have my guitar and bass sound like it was in the same environment. I assume that you would actually use a separate plug-in to add the same atmosphere to the drums and the guitar (for ex. I use ik multimedia and their recording room plug-ins) – but EZ Mix has the same basic interface as EZD2, and I only have the mastering expansion, I’m thinking of  the Bob Rock one as well. If EZMix and EZD can work together, I had no idea, but that would be cool.

I can update it and it still shows all the EZD2 kits, then interface is different for the EZD3 kits of course, but the earlier kits look the same. Worst case scenario, you buy or try it now, and it might allow you to still at least use the EZD2 kits, which, by the way, are still amazing. I am not sure if it will work, but EZD2 still has more than enough to give amazing sounding drums. EZD3 feels a little more sophisticated, but I can’t say it necessarily sounds any better. Definitely it is better, but you can just wait with EZD2 until you get a new computer, I still love all the EZD2 kits, as [they’re] basically what I use most of the time.

The funny thing is, because you mentioned iCloud, and I knew that it was defaulting to an iCloud folder – I just turned iCloud off (for now) completely. Lo and Behold, I open the PM and it starts downloading like normal.

    Thanks for your help!

If I have other non Toontrack grooves, will bandmate also use those?  I assume it will so long as they are in the right folder?

Good Question, I am interested to know as well.
