Does increasing the audio buffer change things?

Thanks for the reply, this is actually what I’m doing already. Even with this configuration the unused mics/channels still go through the bounce process, what I’m trying to figure out is if there’s a way to bypass “Bouncing Kick In” etc. and save some time.

I believe that is just a part of the bounce process.

It sounds like to me that you are triggering from the TD9 and are triggering less than 127 velocity (softer hits). Clicking on the drum in the interface with trigger the hardest 127 velocity hit. You may need to adjust your TD9 so when you hit the drum pedal hard, you are triggering 127 velocity.

Great! Thank you for the info!

Are there any sales coming up for the EZ drummer or Keys lines?

I don’t know when or what salez are up coming. You should get emails for sales when they are announced.

No, EZD2 only uses Toontrack libraries.

S3 allows for custom sample layering of samples. See the video below.

I can’t figure out some of the pattern lengths for EZX The Classic. I’m not a drummer, but 4/4 to me means 4 beats to the measure, quarter note gets the beat. Are my files corrupt, am I not counting the beat right or is the intent to slice and dice the patterns?

Update: I’m guessing the patterns are to be combined with fills.

For me, those grooves are 12 measures, 12 measures, 8 measures, and 2 measures. Can you drag one of the grooves to the EZD2 song track and take a screenshot?

Yes I know that, but al my virtual instruments have a decent midi setting. Like Kontakt, Spectrasonics, modart, Ivory, Uwi…..

    why not in Ez bass…?

Are you saying that when you use those virtual instruments in a DAW, you configure them in the plugin and not from the MIDI setup and preferences from the DAW? When using any virtual instrument in a DAW, the DAW audio/MIDI settings control the plugin regardless of the standalone settings that may be there in the GUI.

EZbass doesn’t include audio/MIDI settings when used as a plugin in a DAW because they would be useless. They are available in standalone where they are needed.

Indeed, I can find it in the standalone version. But not on the plugin version (Logic)

Then the MIDI channel setting would need to be setup in Logic. Refer to the Logic manual for how to setup.

There should be a MIDI channel setting in the Audio/MIDI setup in the Settings menu.

Yes. Can’t get it any smaller than 4,8 MB.

You can contact Toontrack directly via the Contact Support button in the FAQ below and they should be able to send you an upload link.

Thanks for the replies but no one helped so far.

How can I sent you a video of my problem? Keep getting the message “file is too big”.

It’s not about sound, triggering or anything. It’s about the amount button inside the play style editor. It does not add percussions.

Have you zipped the video before posting? Try that.

Sorry – I was not precise.

The regular Percussions that come with EZD2 (One Shot, Shaker etc.)
They can be triggered but they don’t work when opening the play style editor.

I can work wround that copying those MIDIs from the browser into the respective part.
It’s okay but still somewhat unpleasant.

Please take a look at this FAQ and see if what you are experiencing isn’t expected as it’s how it functions or not.

Hi everyone same problem here. The thing is the samples have been recorded in a large studio room I guess; which make most of the sound of SD3 not suitable for other purposes than big drum sounds unfortunately. Ok it’s fun for songs like when the levee break, but then for anything else ? Unless there is a way to ged rid of these infinite tails on all the snares and the kicks ?

Despite the great effort, I think this software is really anoying for these kind of stuff. Great sounds, but finnaly impossible to use because it hads not been designed to be versatile. Other incredibly anoying problem: the tail of the rides and crashes being mute for no reason, even with the aftertouch disabled.

Is there any way to fix this issues ? This big reverbish sound goes on with all the room mic turned off obviously.

Do you have the all bleed turned off as well as all the room mics?

Toon Track makes life un-necessarily hard with only two authorisations… This is short sighted and maybe needs to be reviewed.
I need to authorise three computers. I have a Windows Sawstudio which contains all my mixes, an iMac which is my main computer using Logic and my New M1 laptop. I have supported Toon Track for years and have many software products from Toon Track, I cannot possibly unauthorised my Windows or iMac but I also need all my Toon Track software on my laptop. Only allocating two authorisations is a major hinderance and unworkable for me. These products I bought from you is for my use only and I am only using one at a time but if I remove an authorisation from either of my other computers it really does screw me up. What can I do?
Please help by letting me have an authorisation for my laptop for all my Toon Track products.
    Regards
    Craig

Operating system: macOS Big Sur (11)

The license you purchased allows for 2 simultaneous authorizations. If you need more than 2, the only alternative is to purchase a second license for your products.
