I gotta say I have to agree with the customer as well. as the developer you should know whats included midi filewise, that’s 101 stuff and could make for a bad experience for the clients. would you buy a car withoout knowing all the options? I know just enough now not to waste my money on the ezx reggae pack. C’mon with the documentation guys. do the right thing guys people will still buy..

How would a document of text offer more value than being able to audition every MIDI file in every MIDI pack and EZX that Toontrack sells directly in the EZD2 interface? Use the “Show Webshop MIDI” as the pic above your post shows and listen to what you would be purchasing.

EZbass MIDI packs will appear in the Grooves browser.
EZbass Sound expansion packs will appear in the Sound Library drop down menu.
So the Fusion MIDI pack should appear in the Grooves tab.

I have downloaded and installed the midi packs and it says ready to use but I just couldn’t open it from the product manager. I don’t know what I’m missing but I couldn’t seem to access the pop punk, and reggae kits. I might be missing a step. I’m just honestly clueless.
Are you saying the MIDI packs aren’t showing in the MIDI Browser in EZD2? Can you clarify what you can’t access and where?

No there isn’t a mixer in EZbass. But you can multi out to your DAW.

I have forwarded this thread to Toontrack support. I’ll let you know what they have to say unless they reply here directly.

I’ll have to query Toontrack support on this one. I haven’t seen this error with any of our products before. I’ll let you know what they say.

Does the Toontrack Product Manager show any updates available? What version does Product Manager show as installed?

“That path does not look good. It shouldn’t say “C:\Program” but possibly “C:\Program Files” instead, if that’s where you have/want the EZkeys libraries (sounds). In Explorer you see “Program” but that’s just a Swedish display localization of “Program Files”
thanx, but i’m not sure that would be correct, since that’s not where i have/want the EZkeys libraries (sounds)…
I would wait to get a reply from Support if you’re doing a custom install.

Ok. In that case, see this thread below.

Hmmm… I’ve only ever seen error 1310 when in install path was c:\xxx but yours shows c:\program files like it should. I’m not sure if it’s related to the folders you manually deleted or not. My digestion would be to contact Toontrack Support directly via the Contact Support button in the FAQ below. I’m sorry I have nothing else to suggest.

Are you installing from the Toontrack Product Manager? Please try that and report back.

The first thing I’d do it update your EZD2 (if you are running 2.1.8) to the latest version via the Toontrack Product Manager to see if that fixes the crashes. Report back the results.

I’m looking to change my setup to Linux and use Ardour. My main song writing tools are Superior Drummer 2, EZbass and EZkeys. I would appreciate any comments on how I might best achieve using these with Ardour. Is there any support from Toontrack to help?
Richie
Linux is not a supported OS for Toontrack products I’m afraid. So we can’t offer any support for its use and it is a “use at your own risk” type of thing.

Well, for starters, it should be mentioned on the product page that Reverb is included in many of the samples and it cannot be turned off or muted.
Had that been listed on your website or Sweetwater’s website, where I purchased the EZX, it would have not only saved me time, I wouldn’t have spent $79 dollars plus tax for a sample library that doesn’t fit my needs or criteria.
Quite a few of the samples for each kit piece categories are offered as audio samples on the product page.
I’ll pass on your suggestion to the marketing department regarding the sample descriptions.
