Its been requested before. I don’t have any info on future releases however. Toontrack doesn’t let out much info on what is being developed I’m afraid.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for getting back to me. I am using Product Manager and I do have EZ Drummer, EZ Drummer 2, and Superior Drummer 3. I have never had this issue with previously purchased items. I hope that we can resolve this issue quickly because my next purchase will be Metal Foundry and a few others. Please help ASAP. Thank You!
Sincerely,
Steven Cenker
So you have your products registered to different accounts? If so, they will need to be merged into the same one. Please contact Toontrack Support directly via the link at the bottom of any FAQ page.

If you’re not authorizing from the Toontrack Product Manager, please try that and report back.
Also, I don’t see EZD2 registered to your account and EZD2 (or S3) is required for EZX use.

I have tried the ‘Contact Support’ button at the bottom of the FAQ page, but I cannot get it to work. I have tried on my phone as well as desktop and I have used several different web browsers. How can I get in contact about a problem with an order? Thanks.
What was the order number? I can pass the info along to support and someone will get back to you.

I think my snare setup is not responding to the Stereo Reverse Mixer setting.
If I play around with monitoring the HiHat, Cymbals, Toms etc. I can hear that they reverse Left-Right when I toggle the Stereo Reverse Mixer setting. But my snare does not. Might it be that the snare is stacked?
Reply To: Stereo Reverse Mixer version: 3.2.4
Operating system: Windows 10
Is it that the snare panned to the center to begin with or do you have the snare panned?

I would like this option too. I have been looking for drum beats with ezdrummer2 and have not found what I want, I found some wave file drum loops with the right sounds and bpm that I would like to import to ezdrummer2 and mess with adding or removing portions but can’t import wave files to try it out. Is it a problem for ezdrummer to detect and covert each sound into a midi format or?
There is the Tracker feature in Superior Drummer 3 that can convert wave audio to MIDI but it’s not a feature of EZD2.

1. I don’t really have any recommendations about EZXs as they all have a slightly different vibe and sound. I would recommend listening to the demos of each.
2. The drum MIDI packs are for both EZD2 and S3.
3. If you check out the S3 product page: https://www.toontrack.com/product/superior-drummer-3/ there is a chart that compares all the features between EZD2 and S3.

You write ” Was this with the ASIO4ALL driver or a pro audio interface ASIO driver?”
How can i now and there can i se that?
Did you install the ASIO4ALL driver?
If you don’t know if you have a pro audio interface most likely you do not. And you are using the built in audio device.
If you downloaded the ASIO4ALL driver and are using that with EZD2, and are getting clicks and crackles, it is most likely due to a buffer too low. Try raising the buffer until the crackles go away. However, that will increase the latency. It is this balancing act that we all do in pro audio in regards to latency vs playback.
Personally, when I use Tap2Find or using my MIDI input device, I set my buffer to 32 samples. This introduces crackles of course. I’m using a pro card (RME Digiface with ASIO driver) and I get crackles. When I’m done inputting MIDI I raise the buffer for playback. There really isn’t a set it and forget it buffer for this.

What are your computer specs? Are you using built in Windows audio or a pro audio interface? If the latter, which are you using?
You say you tried ASIO but it crashed. Was this with the ASIO4ALL driver or a pro audio interface ASIO driver?

WASAPI audio drivers will introduce noticeable latency and is not the recommended driver for pro audio software. It is good for gaming or streaming music or movies but an ASIO driver will give you the best results and are used for pro audio applications.
You can look into the freeware ASIO4ALL driver for native windows audio devices that will allow lower latency performance.

I use Korg nano pad2 to play drums in Tap2Find, but ezdrummer hang after!
Buffer zice is 256.
Are you running in Standalone or in a DAW? Have you tried lowering the buffer size?

Are you using EZD2 in standalone or in a DAW? If a DAW, which one. What is your audio buffer size set to? Have you tried lowering it?

Toontrack doesn’t reveal release dates for products in advanced. Sometimes they release teaser info but there is no info we Forum Techs can disclose in any case.
