Are there plans to make EZ Drummer 2 compatible with VST3? It looks like Cubase/Steinberg intend to make my purchases of EZ Drummer 2 obsolete in the near future.
Reply To: Cubase 14 doesn’t recognize any of my Toontrack products. version: 2.2.3
Operating system: Windows 11
EZD2 was discontinued when EZD3 was released in 2022. There has been no further updates for EZD2 since then and would not expect and further updates to be released.

A DVD drive is not a requirement at this time for any Toontrack product.
The description is leftover from when it was released in 2018 and when Toontrack was transitioning from DVDs to an all digital download delivery system in the Toontrack Product Manager.

If not, you could email Toontrack at support(at)toontrack(dot)com and that will reach our support as well.

EZD3 is supported for macOS 10.13 or above.
Discontinued products such as EZD2 are only supported for macOS 10.10 to macOS 14 only.

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanScott: Thank you for your response, but before I download EZDRUMMER3 I need to be sure of one thing. This product I bought is a gift for my son. If I download it onto my computer, will my son be able to also download it onto his?
If you bought it for someone else, I suggest sending them the serial number so they can register the serial number to their Toontrack account instead of yours.

You should be able select the presets from Preset menu.
See the EZD3 manual.

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanI just purchased an EZDRUMMER3 from you online and then I entered in my billing info and my shipping address. I did not fill out that info until after I purchased this product. So, how do you know where to ship the product to? When I look at my dashboard it does not show be purchasing anything. I need help!
You should have received an email confirmation (with serial number) of your order. You then register that serial number in your Toontrack Product Manager. Download, install, and authorize your product.

Scott,
I communicated with the seller and she told me that she bought it at an estate sale and doesn’t have the login info that was associated with the account. She does have the information on who she bought it from. What should be my next step?
The seller must follow the steps in the FAQ below to transfer a license. Please reach out to the seller and have them contact Toontrack to properly sell their license. If they don’t have the correct account info, they can’t sell it.

Personally, it almost looks like a scam to me and I’d it were me, I’d ask for a refund and purchase from a reputable outlet.
