Scott, I just upgraded to v3. Would the v2 core library offer any kits that are sonically better than v3 core? I’m into vintage.
Reply To: should we keep ez drummer 2 after upgrade to 3 version: 3.0.6
Operating system: macOS Sonoma (14)
Every library has there own sonic plusses and minuses. I see no reason why you wouldn’t want both.

Thanked by: Gary StiltnerI -re-installed everything from scratch and the Core Library is in the default location. Product Manager says everything is installed and authorized but I still only have the Basic kit and the Singer-Songwriter Kit available. Please Help.
Operating system: macOS Monterey (12)
There are 3 different rooms (libraries) in the default EZD3 libraries.
Main Room: Studio Kit and Singer-Songwriter kit.
Bright Room: Modern Rock kit and Vintage Rock kit
Tight Room: Tight & punchy kit, classic pop kit and hip hop/r&b kit
You need to load the other rooms from the library select menu.

Thx, ok.
That important information should be added on the Dance EZX product page, as it is not quite “compatible” with the use in SD3.
Reply To: Multi FX in SD3 version: 3.3.6
Operating system: macOS Ventura (13)
The function is the same within EZD3 as it is in S3.
IOW, there is no editable “multi effect” parameters when using the Dance EZX in either EZD3 or S3.

Some EZXs have custom effect chains by the producer using effects not included in EZD3 or S3. They can’t be edited.

The EZD3 Upgrade includes the EZdrummer 2 Core Library EZX that includes the sound libraries and MIDI from EZD2 so you don’t need to keep EZD2 installed if you just want the MIDI or sounds.

EZD3 won’t replace EZD2 in your DAW projects so if you have old projects you want to open, I wouldn’t remove it from your system.
If you don’t or don’t care, you can go ahead and delete it.

No. There is no upgrade path for EZplayer to any other line of Toontrack products.

Thanked by: Ben DickinsTaking a look at your account I don’t see any Toontrack Products registered. That would be step one to be able to download your purchase.
Please register your product first. Then you will be able to download, install, and authorize through the Toontrack Product Manager.

I use the multiple tracks to try out different arrangements. Or try 3 or 4 different verse/chorus groove feels. Or try one verse with a different kick or snare pattern

I really can’t think of anything else. I’m on PC. When I set the time sig to 6/8 in either standalone or in a DAW the Grid Editor changes to 6/8. Perhaps you’re not zoomed in enough to see the changes??

Thanked by: JimHave you set the time signature to 6/8 in the EZbass Track Settings (to the left of the EZbass Transport)?
EZbass will not automatically detect the time signature from your DAW.
