did you apply all of the updates available for the Nashville EZX expansion
as well as all of those available for EZD2 (as appropriate for your operating system)??
I have no experience with Mixcraft 6, so I searched the forum for posts about it…
this one seemed the most helpful, but I encourage you to please search for others as well
https://www.toontrack.com/forum/ezdrummer-daw/mixcraft-anyone-using-ezd2-with-mixcraft/
how ’bout your new Mac? what OS?
what can you tell us about your sound card? make/model
how is it connected to the Mac?
how are you running EZMix? in standalone mode? or in a DAW/host?
sorry for delayed response
but i’m on the road at the moment.
you may be disappointed, surprised,
or embarrassed to hear:
1) i did this all in ‘standalone mode’ without the support of a DAW
2) with my mouse & the onscreen EZKeys keyboard
3) using EZKeys’ [Record] function,
4) overdubbing each note of the chord in a total of 4 passes
less than 3 minutes (including the screenshots)
connect a MiDI controller and you can record the chord in a single pass. in EZKeys or your DAW
in your DAW, i might even just use the piano-roll editor

It was working as a stand alone at one point several days ago but couldn’t get it to plug into Logic.
I’m afraid that I’m totally confused…EZDrummer1 has NEVER worked as a standalone.
If you truly were running EZDrummer as a standalone, then your endgame is to install EZDrummer2.
You DO NOT need to install EZDrummer1 before installing EZDrummer2.
Otherwise, I’ve attached a screenshot of EZDrummer1’s location when hosted in Logic 9.
As John suggested above, you should empty your Trash and then run the 500+ MB EZDrummer1 installer (version 1.4.0),
followed by the EZX Cocktail library and if you want to run EZDrummer1 as a standalone, install Toontrack Solo.
Beyond that, PLEASE post screenshots or specific details of your progress and issues.
Thanks.
are you saying that you have not downloaded & reinstalled Toontrack Solo and the EZX Cocktail kit ??
are you not seeing EZDrummer available as an AU plugin in LOGIC??
Unlike EZDrummer2, EZDrummer1 runs only as a plugin and needs a host, like Solo or Logic.
There will be no EZDrummer1 app in the Toontrack folder with the “Sound Mover” app and Documentation.
what host are you using? do you know how to set the tempo in the host?
is this where you are playing the prerecorded tracks?
if not, where or how are you are playing the prerecorded tracks?
First and most importantly, please take this FAQ into consideration relative to your inquiry:
http://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-trigger-the-ezdrummer-2-percussion/
PLEASE(!!) extract the zip file’s contents before attempting to run the install.exe.
Thanks and enjoy!!

I spent some time…
Other loop vendors that sell loops for EZDrummer2 could have the ability to sell indexed sets
with some kind of reciprocal arrangement with TT that might include a premium for a Tap2Find logo.
Great analysis!!!
and I love your thoughts regarding 3rd-party MIDI vendors and a Tap2Find logo.
There’s lots of people saying that they don’t care about or have no need for tags and/or labels.
I will be very surprised if simply providing a list of untagged, unlabeled grooves will be sufficient
if or when Toontrack is capable of providing such matching functionality for 3rd-party MIDI.
