Each sound library comes with the same set of CORE MIDI.
CORE MIDI that is basic, “theoretical” and very generic.
It is independent of style. Devoid of groove. Defined by its lack of genre.
Only the individual EZKeys MIDI pack expansions have any theme, style, or groove.

Contact the seller and ask if they followed the process in this link;
https://www.toontrack.com/faq/transfer-of-license-and-multiple-installs-important-information/Ah Scott E’s cut and paste skills are quicker than mine….
ah, well, you took the time to type that nice, friendly preamble that I did not…
I was just trying to beat Olof’s response time on a post where I had typed 4 or 5 sentences, (maybe even as many as 9 or 10),
and Olof’s post was about 3 full minutes before mine.
I haven’t tried this myself but you both could try creating a “User MIDI” folder on your computer
that sync’s to your DropBox or Google Drive for the grooves that you’re working on together.
EZDrummer (and most Toontrack products) allow for two (2) active authorizations.
If you want to use EZDrummer on 3 computers, you will need to purchase another license.
If you no longer want to use EZDrummer on one of your computers,
you can remove the authorization for that product (in Product Manager) for that particular computer,
freeing up an authorization to be used on another computer.

As confusing as it might seem, the folder used by the Product Manager to store installation file downloads
and the location to which a product is installed are typically different locations.
On a Windows PC, the location to which the Toontrack Product Manager will download installation files
is configured under “Tools > Options”.
On a MAC, I believe that the location to which the Toontrack Product Manager will download installation files
is configured under the “Preferences” menu.
The location to which a product is installed can usually be chosen during the actual installation process,
not during the download process.
Edit: It appears that Olof posted his response whilst I was still typing mine.
i’m not in front of my studio computer at the moment, but I offer a TT kit created expressly for that sound…

There is just the version, not 32 or 64bit…
Is the 32bit incompatibility mentionned somewhere on Toontrack website ? I’ve just bought Superior 3 today…
are you on Windows or Mac?
on Mac, right-click on the Cubase app and choose “Get Info”. There is a 32-bit checkbox indicator there.

HI just curious, do the MIDI packs and the SDX packs contain the same MIDI grooves, or do the packs only contain a portion of the grooves? Specifically looking at Progressive Foundry SDX vs MIDI pack. I dont’ really need the samples but want all the grooves.Putting together my wish list 🙂
Thank you!
In those cases, it is noted in the product description, as illustrated on the following pages:

Interesting! Maybe I do things differently, but I put all the SD3 midi’s into my DAW track(s) so I never have SD3 follow the host. Everything is in the host.
Thanks. That makes sense.
just wondering…and purely for my own information,
on what occasion(s) would someone not want SD3 to follow the host?

I agree with all of this. $200 is a steal for what you get with SD3.
I can’t believe there are people who still haven’t upgraded yet.
Do yourself a favor and just do it. You will be glad you did!
Add my enthusiastic agreement to the discussion.
But it seems that mobile apps, the proliferation of plugins and piracy have cheapened the public perception of the value for the time,
labor and resources required to create software like a SuperiorDrummer or EZDrummer.
Putting this kind and level of drum production into the hands of the prosumer… it really is a bargain.
Think about it:
Rent a renowned, professional recording studio, like Galaxy studios in Belgium, The Warehouse in Vancouver, BC,
Atlantis Studios in Stockholm, Avatar Studios in New York City or Blackbird Studio in Nashville.
Hire a professional drummer, like Kenny Aronoff, Gene Hoglan (Strapping Young Lad, Testament) or Tomas Haake (Meshuggah).
Hire a legendary and/or in-demand producer, like George Massenburg, Bob Rock, Andy Sneap, Neil Dorfsman, or Forrester Savell.
Hire an engineer & a tech or 2. Maybe even a drum tech.
Rent 4, 5, 6, or 7 drum kits and their various accessories.
and that’s just to make the samples!
Just watch any of “the Making of….” videos (some linked below).
Then think about the programming done to create all of the different modules and functionality in the software to manipulate & play those samples…
