SUPERIOR DRUMMER 3 PROJECT FILES (from the SD3 manual)
Projects saved from the file menu include essentially everything that you see in all of Superior Drummer 3’s tabs. This includes items that a SD3 Preset (loaded from the Presets selection menu) would not. Saved in a SD3 Project are the following:

- Groove Tab filters
- Selected grooves
- Edit Play Style State
- Grid editor adjustments
- Mixer Tab (including all effect settings and levels).

Superior Drummer 3’s Drums and Mixer Presets offer a unique selection of drums that have been fully mixed and processed by a variety of producers to achieve a specific sonic goal. This includes any combination of level, panning, effect processing, and Property Box alterations that the producer desired to achieve the particular sound. …(and) allow the user to load any desired sound preset without loosing any work that has been completed on the Song Track or in the Tracker tab.

Thanked by: zenwarlord, NickK_2 and MARK DAVIESIMO, “YES!!” – considering the number of sample libraries that lean that way:

from the Presonus Studio One v4 Knowledge Base:
PS. I know of no such procedure necessary for installing/using 3rd-party plugins in Pro Tools (as long as an AAX version of the plugin is available).

Thanked by: tgfoyl1472_1I run Pro Tools (2019.12) and SD3 from an external 2TB SSD
on a Mac running OSX 10.12 (Sierra) with no problems.
I wonder if your issue has anything to do with OSX Catalina.
The EZX Action! product description page ( https://www.toontrack.com/product/action-ezx/ ) denotes
“21 mix-ready presets with corresponding MIDI grooves”
EDIT: sorry. upon further review, it seems that my response does not address your issue.
Of course there is a manual.
https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-access-the-superior-drummer-3-manual/
Regarding the use of a single external hard drive containing your sound libraries on two laptops,
you will still need to install the Superior Drummer 3 software, MIDI Library, and Presets on both laptops.
The sound libraries can reside and be configured to reference the same external drive.
from the SD3 manual:
LINKING THE INSTALLED SOFTWARE TO THE SUPERIOR DRUMMER 3 SOUND LIBRARY
Once ALL software installations are complete, launch The SD3 stand alone application.
In the [Settings] menu, select [Libraries].
Click the [Browse for Library Paths] button
and then navigate to the ‘SL-SuperiorDrummer3‘ folder on the hard drive.
The sound library will now be linked and available for use.
Repeat for each additional installation.

why doesn’t Product Manager help you? [https://www.toontrack.com/faq/what-is-the-product-manager/]
what does Product Manager display for you when you log in?
Q: I have my Toontrack account set up and I am logged in to the Product Manager. How do I proceed with downloading, updating or authorizing my product?
A: To download a product, locate your product in the main section list of products and click the red ‘Download Product’ button to commence. Once the download has finished, simply click the install button. Then you just need to click through the pages of the installer and let it run to completion. When you have closed the installer, the Product Manager will recognize that the product is installed and a red ‘Authorize’ button will appear. Simply click this button to authorize. Once authorized, the Product Manager will check to see if there are any available updates that need to be installed. If so, a red download button will appear for the updates. Once the updates are finished downloading, start the installers and let them finish. The Product Manager will display checkmarks for each of the completed steps until finally showing a green checkmark that reads “Ready to use”, indicating that your product is fully ready.
can you post a picture of your Product Manager screen?
(check out the 1st video, around 5:35)
https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-remove-an-authorization-from-my-toontrack-com-account/
You can de-authorize the licenses linked to your old computer
by logging into the Toontrack Product Manager on your old computer
or on your new computer.
I have read all this gobbledygook about future hits etc, but I still can’t see how to get CLAPS into my track or to edit a C#-2 in the piano roll when it only goes down to C-1!!!
anyone have some actual help?
to what piano roll are you referring?
still sounds like a Presonus Studio One issue.
hopefully you’ve reached out to them as well.
an you load any other 3rd-party virtual instruments??
