A number of EZDrummer libraries include ‘Cymbal Swells’ as part of their MIDI grooves
including the EZDrummer2 Modern & Vintage kits.
Navigate to the [SEARCH] tab and filter for ‘Cymbal Swells’ in the Play Style column.
Enable [Show Web MIDI] to display & hear grooves from libraries
or MIDI packs that you may not own currently.

Thanked by: Tony SalkeldAs I understand it, the transfer speed of the drive ONLY affects the time
that it takes to load the kit’s samples into RAM. SD3 plays samples from RAM.
Once loaded into RAM, SD3 does not go back to the drive.
My recommendation… get the most reliable, the largest, and most compatible drive
for your system that you can comfortably afford.
IMHO, transfer speed is not a make-or-break option for SD3.
Personally, I run all of my SD3 sample libraries from this:
SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable External SSD

Thanked by: AltSoundI also have found it very very difficult to contact toon track. There is no other way apart from this Toontrack forum page it is terrible service.
This was not the case on you tube tutorials and when purchasing the system was flawless.
IS this because they were taking my hard earned money ?
After filling in the support form, adding in all my serial numbers from my logic pro x , and serial numbers for the toontrack EZ drummer purchased programme – then adding photos just to find the captcha threw me out right at the end
which inciiently I filled in correctly.
Hi,
Please use the “Contact Support” button found at the bottom of any FAQ and our Support Team will help investigate!

You don’t have to uninstall SD3 to reclaim that disk space.
Why not just move the SD3 Sound Library(s) to another (external) drive.
Then repoint the SD3 Sound Library paths in Settings to the new location.
Even a slow, cheap flash drive will do as SD3 loads its samples into RAM when used.

Thanked by: PookermanI’m still using EZD 1 , I see now that...I’m still using EZD 1 , I see now that all the expansion pacs say they are for EZ 2. Will they run in EZD 1?

A bullet point in the EZDrummer2 Release Notes, as of 2018-09-05,
states “that EZdrummer 2.1.7 is required for EZX expansion packs released from this point forward (Q3 2018)“.

Now, if only there was a way to sort the EZX expansions by Release Date…
If it’s two chords in a bar you mean? Use the scissor to cut the bar in half.
Maybe this can help you?

You may need to ‘zoom out’ to see & to cut the smaller subdivisions of the bar.

Thanked by: dswatermanI would offer that the easiest way to explain this that the Bundles are not on sale
and that buying 3 individual EZX expansions on sale is “a limited time offer”.
First, I want to point out that in no way should my response here be construed as an official Toontrack response.
I do not work for Toontrack nor have I contacted them for an official response…
but looking thru the posted Toontrack “Terms & Service” policy,
as is the case with nearly all software purchases from any developer anywhere,
see bullet #8 “CANCELLATION POLICY.”
I’m not sure that I understand your follow-up question; if you move a folder,
its contents move with it.
Drag & Drop the “SL-SuperiorDrummer3” folder to your desired new location
and edit the path in SD3 as documented in Section 9.3.5 of the SD3 Operation Manual:
https://www.toontrack.com/manual/superior-drummer-3/9/9-3-settings-2/9-3-5-libraries-settings-tab
https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/moving-sd3-sound-files/#post-1998101
https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/moving-sd3-sound-files/
https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/moving-superior-drummer-3-to-an-external-drive/
and of course, Section 9.3.5 of the SD3 Operation Manual:
https://www.toontrack.com/manual/superior-drummer-3/9/9-3-settings-2/9-3-5-libraries-settings-tab
on the [SEARCH] tab, clicking the “Show Web Shop MIDI” button (above the filter columns)
will include unpurchased grooves in your Tap2Find searches.
